It has nothing to do with pain or regret. He is simply not able to sing these notes created in the studio. The only thing that pisses me off the most is that everyone gets excited that he can't sing it because he's crying. During that performance he simply realized that he wouldn't be able to reach those notes, so he cleverly hid it this way. This is rather embarrassing and disingenuous. And everyone almost shits themselves. He just wrote a vocal part that he has no skill for. Is Myles Kennedy out of pitch when he sings the "Blackbird" which is very emotional song for him? No. Because Myles Kennedy is a professional and genuine singer, who doesn't need to pretend. And above all, he knows his vocal abilities and arranges vocal parts so that he can then sing it comfortably on live performance. Stop writing about Brent Smith getting emotional during the last chorus. There is no recording of this song on KZbin where he sang this part correctly. Not even one.

He did sing this song live a few times and the complete song. You have no idea about anything. He did hit the notes and he would never do this he obviously was crying not a fake emotion. He would just sing it lower not fake crying. You should be ashamed of yourself to even say something like that. Your no Shinedown fan!!

It was an absolutely surreal experience to see them that day. I was in awe every second; my serotonin and dopamine receptors were (happy) overloaded. I will forever look back on that show as one of my fondest memories, and I take that as a challenge.

Ya know I love fuzz but between the two Moyer is certainly the better bassist don't get me wrong fuzz was intricate and technical but Moyer is overall a master at his craft man can solo his ass off I've been studying his work for years and have based my playing and sound off him and he's one of the most technical bassist I've ever heard and seen play live

Because they usually don't get any. They also don't need to play very complex basslines like in Funk or Beebop. This adds to them only really being able to do this.
