I'll be using an S2000 radiator mainly because the inlet and outlets are on the same side, like the one you're using. I'll have to tackle a similiar solution although the mounting points are on the far ends of the radiator.
@DekadentGarageСағат бұрын
hmm yeah that does sound a bit more tricky. you may be able to have the mounts go outward above the headlights sorta

@@Jake_YZ29 Hard to say since I haven’t taken it on a highway cruise, just bouncing around the backroads. However I will note that the bolts holding the exhaust together by the headers/midpipe rattled off just idling in the garage lol

Hows it going , I’m willing to pay you , and send you my two connectors that go into the ecu k pro . If you can make the harness like you created for yours I was wondering about that blue yellow wire . Lmk thanks in advance

I'm doing the same swap. I have Kpowers harness as well. I'd like to check mine. So pin 7 on the ECU side should go to which pin on the CPS connector side?
@DekadentGarageАй бұрын
Yep, A7 should be going to the middle wire on the CPS. Blue wire with a yellow stripe. You can find all the Honda wiring diagrams online using charm.li

Have been checking out all of your videos, nice work and progress! One note on the Kpower conversion harness... I just learned this myself. I've been chasing a fluctuating voltage issue in Kpro, which also caused the dash, dome, and headlights to flicker ever so slightly at idle. The voltage as reported by KPro would vary wildly at idle and part throttle, going down to 12v and up to 14v. Voltage at the alternator was rock solid at 14v, so I knew it wasn't strictly a charging or ground issue. Turns out Kpower pulls supply power for the O2 sensor relay (pin 30) from a switched ignition source on the C101 plug vs. constant 12v. Kpro controls the opening and closing of that relay, so there's no need for it to have a switched power source. I rewired it so pin 30 goes direct to battery power (used a 7.5A fuse). No more flickering lights and now the voltage in KPro matches the rock solid 14v coming from the alternator. I think there's too much noise or interference on the ignition circuit, and it was causing that issue. Found this all out via an old forum post on k20a.org where some people were having the same issue with a Honda to Honda swap using a Hybrid Racing harness.
@DekadentGarageАй бұрын
ah very interesting ill have to look into that. i can just remove it entirely since im not using the o2 sensor
@fitandfinishgarageАй бұрын
@ Ah OK, you should be fine then. If I unplugged the O2 sensor, the issue went away.
@Andyman746Ай бұрын
