Fabulous video Heather. I’ve been in the grip of this awful dizzy/anxiety cycle since June. My VRT also said the 2 are linked. In fact, most people suffering from vestibular issues suffer with severe anxiety. Part of my VRT programme is meditation to help combat this side. I know how debilitating this awful affliction is, so to see you so bubbly and positive about your condition, it is inspiring. Thank you. Looking forward to more videos. Lou x

I had a panic attack in aldi at the freezers. It suddenly became overcrowded and I had to abandon my trolley and hobble onto the carpark with my walking stick. I had to go home. Over the years my symptoms have gone worse and I have more or less given up on hope. I'm glad to hear you have improved.

I've had this for over 10 years now. The health service have not been helpful I'm as good as self diagnosed. They said over the years: MS, Stroke and even acid reflux! Canvas syndrome is the latest? I cannot believe how little is known about this problem, yet balance disorders are one of the biggest health complaints? I'm on a list for possible physiotherapy. Thank you for your video.

Most vile horrible condition, I'm 17 weeks in, getting better slowly. But anxiety is torture! Currently doing vrt. It's an unpredictable pr*k also, can have an episode anywhere, pressured ears , then weak legs and feeling so disorientated. My heart goes out to anyone dealing with it.its torture.

Indeed it does feel like torture. I just had an anxiety-only relapse, after almost 4 months of recovery and different medicines, I felt totally helpless but I realize it´s just linked to my previous vestibular-labyrinthitis condition and not me going crazy

Omg.. I can relate to all the anxiety and dizziness. I gave vestibular migraine and pppd. Which pppd is constant dizziness mild or severe at times. Feels like your on a boat, lightheadedness brain fog, tired.. and when I feel the symptoms coming on, I get very anxious and cry sometimes. And then fear and depression sets in.

I went deaf 4 years ago. Woke up, fell on my face. I couldn't walk, shower myself, feed myself, etc. All doctors said I had ear infection, I didn't. They referred me to the university of Michigan, they put me in a hyperbaric oxygen chamber. I have tinnitus. I have a cross hearing aide now. I have been sleeping alot.. my bf thinks im different...is depression a part of it? I feel it.

Hi Heather, how are you now? I've had Vestibular Neuritis for six months now, was getting better but had a relapse, it's an awful illness and the anxiety is the main issue now, I am going to find the courage to get back to living but it's hard, going into shops just feels vile, hope you have made a full recovery and have put it all behind you now.

@@wendylawrence3297 sorry i missed your reply ive been logged out of my account for a while. Im a lot better but i feel like it wants to creep back when i eat anything thats unhealthy. What helps me is a one a day vitamin plus i take magnesium pills and i take Ashwaganda for the anxiety if it hits. There was a one month stretch where i couldnt sleep and my body was on non stop panic mode. The vestibular nerve shares the same pathway where your anxiety comes from so when it gets irritated it wrecks havoc on the nervous system.Hope your doing good.
