Not telling consumers how to properly maintain their product (Schwintec) is VERY UNETHICAL. They should be trusted about as much as a used car dealer.

We have a Micro Minnie. I like the idea, but I don't like the new holes. Product life times are very short now. If they ever need to be replaced, I think there will be new holes to cover up. We are attempting a shade approach.

Thanks for sharing, totally agree 100% on lubing the slide motors/bushings. I feel Lippert has a messaging issue and they should rectify this so you don't get some thinking that lubricating a mechanical drive system shouldn't be done. This should be crystal clear from the RV techs to the customer to the dealers.

The video from lippert has been removed on the Lippert site. The reason is the new slide have a different system that can be damaged by the lub. No longer metal on metal but a synthetic block on the slide. I need to call Lippert and find out when they did the change

I had a similar experience at Hells canyon in Idaho. It just kept going and going. Still,connected too. Some sort of conductivity issue. It was cheaper to buy one used if eBay since they want the drone. I have a 3, 4 mini, air 3. I went with an Auto Evo 2 v 3. Video and images are very good. After a year no issues , it just took some tweaks o the EXP to smooth it out.

I have just become a huge fan of your channel and started following your IG. I binged almost all your videos on my tv but my KZbin on tv is not signed in so it doesn't affect my actual KZbin account algorithm because we all watch different content in this house. So what I watched, your analytics data might not show that info. I love your humor and your love for Christ. I am also a christian and use my photography to push a creationist viewpoint of the world. God is the ultimate artist. I wanted to mention that at the 3:40 mark in this video when you are talking about the tree, it is not a Juniper. Those are Rio Grande Cottonwoods. Yes... cottonwoods. Hard to believe huh. Though they are small, they are beautiful and hardy within the sands at White Sands, but especially beautiful in November when they are brilliant yellow. Anyway... great content. I truly hope the best for you and will pray for you but I request this, the next time you're in NM and swing through Albuquerque, we should have lunch and talk. I have some ideas. Cheers Jory

Thanks for the reassuring video. I have always lubed our slide and haven't had any issues. The recent Lippert "no need to lube" video is a complete disservice to owners. Very disappointing. In regards to lubing both inside and outside, it is next to impossible for me to access the rear slide area due to the trailer design. After studying the Lippert lubrication instructional video, I came to the realization that both the inner and outer gib can be accessed from the outside. If one looks at where the straw is positioned in front of the wheel, I found that by simply working the straw to the other side of the wheel was sufficient. It is not necessary to lube the coupler from the inside. Again, looking at the Lippert instructional video, the coupler is one area not divided like the gib so a few squirts of lube from the outside is all that's needed.

Hi Rob and everyone! My first time watching today and I subscribed. This is a controversial topic and I was impressed by the thorough coverage, explanation, links and finally the great responses to recent information. It allows us to look into things ourselves with all the recent data covered. It would be nice to have a definitive answer on which models are made from the new non-metal materials. I saw an approximation of 2020 being the year of change. I may call Lippert for this information. If I find anything out, I'll post it.

I’m sorry for your loss. But ANY insurance that lapses is not going to pay your claim. At least it wasn’t a $70K car! I’ve crashed a long way from home several times. There are several ways DJI pinpoints the location. I’ve hiked miles to retrieve it and even used another drone once to snag it. But I understand the frustration of buying insurance and the cost is what a replacement is. Better luck.
@livingwithrobАй бұрын
We can agree. If the insurance lapses, no dice. I made this more to expose the cost to us if you can not retrieve the drone. It's my opinion that the marketing around flying "worry free" is less than honest.

I just bought a 2023 Renegade Vienna and it came with the lube that you used and a TSB on how to lube the system. Anyone know what year the composite material is being used in the Schwintech system. Also there is a video out there about a system that replaces Schwintech with what looks like a more durable and heavy duty unit, no modifications necessary the system is designed similar but with heavy duty materials. The system upgrade installed was around $5,000.
