I love every one of these from '88. This was a great year at age 23.

I graduated high school in 1977. So many great songs back then. I was always an Eagles fan so "Hotel California" my favorite song from this list. I also loved Boston...ELO.. BTO...Foreigner...Led Zeppelin.

I was 10 in 1967 but I had 5 older brothers who I thought were the coolest. Their music was my music. Several of them are gone now but there will always be the music and the memories.

They seem to be the American hits. There were some great British singers, couldn’t they include them in each years memories.

I was just a kid, but I remember most of these songs. Reminds me of riding the back of my uncles Cadillac returning home with my cousins from Coney Island. If my memory serves me right, I think most of those stations were on the AM radio 📻.

And I hated 80’s music, and grew up in 80’s. Only liked rock from 70’s. Only a few tunes I like from 80’s.

I was a junior in high school in June and going into my senior year in the fall and these songs were played at all our dances. And we had them every weekend. Bet songs ever. What memories.

Immediately after Armstrong said “one small step for man…” I ran outside and stared at the moon, thinking, at age 12, that just maybe I could see him gallivanting around. And then I heard Black Sabbath booming from my brother’s 8-track as that familiar sweet musky smoke rolled out of my dad’s English Ford Anglia. Minor miracle I didn’t smoke pot until years later. Bro would later serve in Nam at the tail end of the war. Remember it all like a hazy dream.
