Yeah you're right. I do like the sound the trains make. Unfortunately, these old 1972 tube stocks will be replaced by the New tube for London, but the new trains will be faster

@@He_who_likes_everything In distance from the ground, that is the platform to the footplate, versus the bus from the kerb, much the same. The only advantage with the Elizabeth Line is that the central stations have level platforms. Most London buses have auto ramps and can lower their fronts. There are some rail lines that I gave up travelling on years ago, such as the Overground, because they became inaccessible to me, due to mobility issues. I usually use a shopping trolley or walker, and keep crutches with me for emergencies.
