Byzantine is not Greek, they are Roman

@@TheoKolokotronis yeah, "Greek speaking" doesn't mean Greek. Greeks are from Greece, but the center of Eastern Roman Empire was not in Greece, it was Anatolia, Egypt and Constantinople

Wrong. Greek people have been native in Asia Minor and Constantinople for centuries, long before Romans emerged in the region, since at least the 10th Century BC. One of the main ethnic groups of the Greeks were the Ionians. These people never vanished from their homeland. They were the core of the Byzantine Empire. Miletos (Miletus), Ephesos (Ephesus), Hierapolis, Pergamon, Laodicea, Byzantion are the cradle of Hellenic civilization. The millennial Byzantine Empire was the longest, the most splendid and the most glorious Empire the world has ever known !

@@TheoKolokotronis Constantinople was not a Greek city, it was culturally Roman. Even today the Greek speakers left in Constantinople identify as Romaioi and not as Ionian/Greek (yunan)

They always switching it up that's why orthodox don't really like us. They say we changed the path but we really don't it's small details
