Nice overview. I own this car. Close to identical but mine is black. It's been a gem. Speedy, fun to drive on the open road, great mileage on regular gas, and provides terrific storage versatility. You have to appreciate driving a manual shift, though. The 6 speeds are awesome. Mazda engineers a great car.

Looks cool. But id rather have suv. I fear any work and generally avoid anything that needs a truck. But maybe for a 5th wheeler or if i had a nice home id give a sht about other things

It's now March 2024 and this video is 6 years old. I bought an identical pickup (2014, F150, FX4, 5.0 liter engine, Super Crew cab, etc.) in 2019, when it was five years old and in exceptional condition. I've owned it five years, and it's coming up on 10 years old with 86,000 miles. Not a single major problem with it. The window lock/unlock button on the driver door stopped working a couple of weeks ago. A mechanic told me that this is a simple problem to fix: check the fuse box inside the panel beside the driver's right foot, or change out the switch box under the decorative cover on the driver's door rest (under your left elbow). I haven't done either yet but will soon. I can still lock all my doors with my key fob while sitting inside, or when I reach abouit 12 miles an hour all the doors will automatically lock. I not experienced any problems unlocking this pickup with my key fob or using the manual keypad below the ouitside handle. The 2014 Ford FX4 Super Crew cab with 5.0 liter "Coyote" engine is an outstanding vehicle. I'm 69 and have been driving since 1971. In town I get 11 to 13 mpg. On the highway I get 19-22 mpg, dependent upon how many grades and mountains I must climb, here in Wyominig. I love my 2014 F150. I am told by knowledgeable people that, given regular oil changes and maintenance, it shouild reach 300,000 miles without a major problem.

I have a special edition but it doesn’t have a sunroof. Also the radio setup is different. Mine is a deep purple. It has the chrome and cooper tires as well. So the sunroof issue. Did some not come that way?

Do you have any problem with the CVT transmission?
@lukerussell2990Ай бұрын
@@paddyo8114 Not at first I didn’t but I noticed when I climbing up steep hills for long periods of time it would make a constant whining noise, but would still drive fine. But if I’d stop for a few minutes and let the car cool down a bit it would stop whining. If you have problems with yours you should change the CVT fluid and the transmission filter. It would do the transmission wonders. I have since sold mine bc I wanted a truck instead
