Good watch. Interesting gearing. Have you ever tries gearing to come out of hairpin in second allowing you to get on gas earlier and smoother? A little easier on tranny too

During this video it had track fairings, Hindle exhaust, power commander 5, quick shifter and Dunlop slicks. Otherwise stock 600.

Thanks Eric, yea generally combined if small grid for one of the classes. Combined we were 22 total.

Plateaued at 1:19's for several years. 2021 first year of racing and really focusing on rider development played a huge part. 1:15's are certainly attainable and the goal for 2022.

thanks Eric, I didn't end up recording any of our Novice races with the exception of the first round. Superstitions got the better of me lol...

very good lap ... I managed 1.16:1 on 3 day old tires even tho i messed up my braking into turn 2 and didn't set up exit from turn 3 still good time at the end of a lap ... between 1.16 and 1.17 lap times bike really feels alive and moving .

I’d like to see 1:15’s on the 600, based on old soar lap times it would be decent pace.

@@JordanDecarie25 I'll DM you my contact info if I can. There was a time when a 1:15 lap could potentially put you on Pro 600 podium with SOAR. Times did get quicker than that for a while (racing) but I'm not sure how quick the track is now, in comparison. kzbin.info/www/bejne/h6imfaRta56fibc

Well it took 3 years of working on it and tweaking my bike, but I ran a 9.906@140mph stock wheel base..

Yea likely but not as much fun for me. There were some early C7’s that has issues with the 8 speed autos cooking a bit.

Tony McFlattie yea with a lead foot, factory tires and factory street alignment traction isn’t the best. Check out Speed Academy on KZbin they do a lot of track videos at TMP!

Yea in Canada the bikes are Kph, being an NHRA sanctioned 1/4 mile drag strip everything is measured imperial feet/mph. Not that confusing.

If his speedo is in KMH and he passed the finish at 299 KMH then that should be 185 MPH

The bike was geared -1 +4 so the speedometer is not accurate. Motorcycle speedometers are rarely accurate to begin with
