I hate when families lose people to rides or other freak accidents, accidents that aren't really because of the ride itself but errors made by management or staff and the first thing they want is the rides to be closed down. Why? I just don't see the point of closing down a ride especially when another will take it's place. You also have to ask, what would their son want? Would he want the ride to be closed down forever over a accident? Probably not.

Melbourne, Australia calling. Going through your tour dates in Australia, one has to wonder who has planned it. Judging with an "Australian mentality" it is sheer time pressure. You will see airports, rental car places, concert venues, hotel- / motel rooms - and maybe a bit of "the real Australia", nature, the weather and mad traffic behaviour in the cities. Hint: Melbourne is the coffee capital of Australia. You will not starve on that liquid. It is on offer at nearly every street corner. Please be aware that from 06 - 10 March Melbourne is in the grip of "Moomba", our greatest autumn (fall) cultural festival. Monday, 10 March is Labor Day, a public holiday in Victoria and due to that long weekend, Melbourne is practically empty of residents. Chaos at the airport and all outbound roads on that Friday. A ghost town afterwards. Everyone being somewhere. No stress, we have booked tickets and looking forward seeing you at the venue in Thornbury. "Moomba" and the long weekend will happen in 2026 too ...

I really want anyone reading this to take a moment and let this sink in, the Springfield School District (Springfield, Mo) is cutting teachers and support staff, while at the same time supporting a multi billion dollar profit driven corporation (Aramark). Ask yourself how does a corporation whos services, I guarantee, do not come cheap make money on school food and its employees. From what I have seen they make it through typical disreputable corporate tactics: control the narrative, lack of transparency, public outrage filtering, and exploitation. A corporation should never be allowed to profit from our citizens via the public school system, and they definitely should not have the authority to hire collection agencies to harass the parents for FOOD THAT WAS GIVEN TO HUNGRY KIDS. The thought of my employer allowing that disgusts me on a whole different level. I have spent most my career in a corporate environment, and have sub contracted my companies services. I am in awe at what they get away with, and the hubris at which they do it. I never would imagined a School District could get such a bad case of corporate rot. Is there no oversight? If their collections idea doesn't produce enough profit after next years cuts what then? More teacher cuts, school consolidations, maximum classroom capacities? How far will they go to keep allowing profits to burden the people that actually live and care about this community and the kids in it? It should be all about the kids, and the educators and staff that support them.
