The Y axis in this case is not showing the molecular weight of the NPs. It is showing the total weight or mass of the particles sedimenting pass the light source detector beam (calculated using Mei Light Scatter theory). The weight data can be shown in absolute fixed terms (micrograms) or in a relative mode where the base peak is 100% and every other peak is then a relative weight measurement. The Y axis can be converted to a relative number and relative surface area measurement as well. We hope we have addressed your question, please let us know if you need any further assistance.
