For 2.5L of paint these days 30 quid is a compelling price. I recall a 1L can cost me about 20 quid a couple of years ago, it was mixed locally but from a large brand name's bulk stock. I am also observer of the threshold wear of old buildings, there is something about taking the time to appreciate and fathom out the volume of soles (and souls) who have entered and exited a premises over those thresholds over periods of time in order to wear them down that way. While typing the above I was reminded of a historical artifact near to where I live - the old hangmans ladder - which you can observe when you go on a tour of historic buildings nearby, it is notable that only the one side of the ladder's steps were worn away as two souls went up but only one ever came back down, something to think about in any case. :)

Hey Zambo, your electrical outlets should be fine per regs so long as they are fixed to something that is not demountable itself, outlet and light switch heights in new builds should be between 450-1200mm but since this is not a new build property you will have some freedom and leeway there, I would also check up on proscribed wiring zones regs just to make sure you are covered there and if in doubt get a registered sparky to give the room a once over before you get everything buttoned up. Aside from that its lookin good, nice to see the progress 👍

They were built from 1956 - 1976 i think , so they were in production for a number of years. I went to high school with a friend, and his Uncle owned a Citroen DS 23 Pallas . It was stunning .
