Absolutely, I got baptized in the church when I was 19, never read the scriptures ,I had faith though, but because of my past the seed did not stayed in the deep soil and satan came to tempt me so soon with things I was doing before. Then I fought and I fought until I received the Holy Ghost again, and I then I start getting too much knowledge and discerment that even I have sat myself with very intelligent men and clergy people, and they opened thier ears and just listening me and agree with me on many subjects we discuss. As a lamanite, I have a better lens of the promises of the Lord to our people and the gentiles 22:42 in the end times, . I've grown so much because of the revelation from God to Joseph Smith, even though I sympathized for awhile with other faiths, I saw how they lack of many important parts of the whole plan of salvation.. But is so true, as you explained here. And still, this is just a little portion of the whole plan.

Let's talk about Joseph Smith and polygamy. Did he practice polygamy and marry 30 plus women, 11 already married to other men or was he a monogamist and only married to one woman? Because if he did practice polygamy and lied about it, then it cannot be claimed that he was worthy to be called a true prophet of God.

No one has seen God, according to the scripture that God wrote. The bible takes all authority, the author is God. 2 Peter 1:20 Above all, you must understand that no prophesy of Scripture came about from someone's own interpretation. No private interpretation, only from God were the old prophets called to speak. The gospel is a special revelation in grace, given to us by God. The bible is word revelation, because it comes from God's own speech, we can also get revelation through human words by a Godly person, but it must be from the authority of the holy God. True revelation only comes to those who have His will. The revelations must match up with Gods word, the bible, this is how we know it is true. Mormonism is not biblical.

Hmmm are your interpretations not private interpretations??!! You are making statements that the Bible does not make!! There is one passage of scripture that states no man has seen God but that passage is contradicted at least ten times with very clear statements that prophets have seen God including Moses! You are correct there will be false prophets but you seem to conveniently miss the idea that in order for there to be false prophets there must also be true prophets otherwise there would be no need for a qualifier!!! Who gave you the authority to muzzle God?? If the fullness of the Gospel is on the earth God will always call prophets to speak for Him!! Your rejection of modern prophets infers that you would have done the same thing regardless of what dispensation you lived in!!

Cross reference vanity to Acts 7 and 17 and this verse in Jeremiah....it is the temple in the church. I really, really hate to be the bearer of this news. Read the scriptures, it all makes sense with what Joseph is saying.

I would love to listen to your videos but every one I have tried to watch, the sound is almost non existent. It only come through on the left channel. There is no right channel sound. I thought might be on the one video I first saw but it has been the same on the several others I tried and this is not the case with other KZbin podcasts I listen to.

Joseph was the true prophet, he could barely get it off the ground and he was murdered, then false men claiming to be prophets continued with lies. It became true that there would be...lying, murders, whoredoms, and false doctrine come about with the Gentiles who sent the church all over the whole world (the nations). The Book of Mormon is true, that is what has sustained the church and the missionaries. The truth (the Book of Mormon) will be given to Israel with authority and there will be nothing we can do about it. The arrogance may be brought low with the church where people may truly have a broken heart and contrite spirit, but not before members anger will boil over first. This will show which members & those in the church leadership don't actually honor God and his son by their actions which will be the opposite of Christ.

Joseph Smith was and is the Lord Jesus Christ's prophet in the last dispensation of the fulness of times, preceding His Second Coming! There are so many "fruits" that come through Joseph Smith that show he's a prophet, and the Holy Ghost will testify the truth of all things unto you if you ask God with a broken heart and sincere intent. Just as I know Jesus is the Christ, I know Joseph was His prophet. 😀

Please feel free to teach us! What gospel doctrine are you referring to?? The Bible is not self interpretive...someone has to interpret the doctrine! If it were that plain, there would be one church not the hundreds of different denominations that exist today, all claiming the Bible as their source for their doctrine! Have you ever wondered about the salvation of those who lived before Christ?? They had no Bible to refer to, but they had prophets to guide them!! You should reexamine your beliefs!!

Please tell me what "the gospel of God" is according to your definition? If it was that easy to determine please inform the over 300 denominations so they can all get in line with you!! Let me help you with that. In the Book of Mormon 2 Nephi chapter 31-32, it spells out the Doctrine of Christ. It is Faith in Jesus Christ, repentance, Baptism of water and the Holy Ghost, which brings that mighty change of heart (Born again), and then enduring to the end in faithfulness. Enduring to the end is the process of sanctification whereby we go from grace for grace and then grace to grace slowly taking on the nature of Jesus Christ until we attain the measure of the fullness of the stature of Jesus Christ, as Paul expressed. It is the Atonement of Jesus Christ that allows us to make mistakes and not be condemned by them, as we remain justified through the enduring to the end process. All of that doctrine is in the Bible yet after 2,000 years of scholarly debate, ya'll are further apart in your unity than ever!! So, when you refer to "the gospel of God" as if there is some kind of agreement as to what that means in mainstream Christianity you are not well informed!!

I had been praying for an answer to my question, should I join the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints ….All of the oxygen in my room was gone. All of a sudden Satan looked back at me and the disappeared out the window. Well, I took that as my answer, and was Baptized the next week.

After the resurrection Jesus said that he will not come back until the second coming so how can he come back again to Joseph Smith and not be the second coming? So Jesus did not appear to Joseph Smith, also Joseph Smith was the president of the Mason's so when he formed the LDS Church he used the same signs and tokens ritual in the Mormon temple so they are also a cult!

It wasn't George Q. Cannon that spoke of the Church of the Firstborn in Kirtland but rather Heber C. Kimball. See JD 5:129-130 (jod.mrm.org/5/129); D&C 93:20-22; Doctrines of Salvation 2:9, 41-43 etc.

Which Jesus are you talking about? When you seek answers from the Book of Mormon instead of the Bible, God can't help you because you have turned your back on Him. Therefore this leaves the door open for Satan (II Corinthians 11:14-15) to step into your life with a false christ or prophet showing you signs and wonders to lead you away from the real Jesus of the Bible who is God the Son 2nd person of the Trinity and the Eternal Creator God. God Himself warns us about this in: MATTHEW 24: 23-24 "Then if anyone says to you, Look, here is the Christ! or There! do not believe it. For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible even the elect..." Mormons teach and believe that their jesus is the brother of Satan, which contradicts what God says in His Bible that Jesus is God the Son 2nd person of the Trinity and the Eternal Creator God. So Mormons, which Jesus do you believe in? A. Your jesus of the Book of Mormon, who is the brother of Satan. OR B. By the power of the Holy Ghost, you may know the truth of all things, including the fact that Joseph Smith was a mighty prophet of God! The Bible is true, but it is not the sole communication from God to His children on earth. What is the Bible any way, a compilation of writings of who? Prophets! God is the same, yesterday, today and forever, is He not? So if He spoke to prophets in the past, He does now. We need the Bible, but we desperately need prophets to interpret God's words therein. How many different interpretations and Christian denominations are there in the world? Are we one faith, one baptism, one church? Is it built upon the foundation of apostles and prophets? Only in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints.

When Jesus died on the cross and was resurrected, he ushered in a new covenant, the new covenant is to be saved by faith, it is a free gift from God, once we receive this gift, we choose to follow Him, only because we love Him so much, we want to obey Him. Through Him by His will we receive His righteousness, discernment, knowledge, love and the list goes on. It is not by anything we can do to enter His kingdom. Once we are a true believer in God, He sanctifies us, our spiritual growth is a progression but it comes from Jesus, he works through us, we are delighted to obey Him, and follow Him so we can become like Him.

Brother I love your teachings. God has broken and remade me over and over again in my life. I'm still a work in progress even though I've seen the ... I was raised a Lutheran by a Catholic father and Lutheran mother who rarely attended any church. They however made sure my brother, sister and I were sent to church. I'm forever grateful for parents who cared enough to see that I got some religious training in my youth. I'm grateful to the Lutheran church for introducing me to Jesus Christ the Son of God. By the prayer of faith and the witness of the Holy Ghost I learned as a child that Jesus is the true Son of God who lives today as a resurrected being in heaven with God the Father. I know that he atoned for the sins of all mankind on the cross and opened the way for the resurrection and salvation of all men. In my early teens I questioned my parents, church and leaders on their authority and knowledge. I rebelled against society and became a hippie looking for love in all the wrong places and doing all the wrong things. However, God in his great mercy chose to chasen and awaken me to the error of my ways. This happened at Woodstock 1969(when I was 19) during a near death experience while I was abusing my body with those bad things of the day. I found myself in hell tormented by all my sins and then reflected upon my childhood belief in Jesus Christ and called upon his name to save me. He heard my voice and delivered me back to life. I was born again and made a promise that day to change my life and go and do what the Lord wanted me to do. He led me by the Bible and the Holy Spirit over the next nine months to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where I was baptized in the Atlantic Ocean at Smith Point Fire Island, NY on June 27th 1970. I know by personal revelation and the Holy Ghost that Jesus is the Savior of all mankind and He has led me to the prophet Joseph Smith, the Book of Mormon and the The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints which I know to be true by the power of the Holy Ghost. Please seek, read, ponder and pray concerning these things and you too can know they are true by the power of the Holy Ghost I pray in name of Jesus Christ, amen! 😊
