I used Neatsfoot oil, on my 8085 and amber harness. Looks rich in colour! Use a small applicator brush 5o get into the difficult areas. Look OK. They will lighten slowly. Makes the leather look rich!

CJ, I am a bit confused with sizing on the Mr. Lou. Should I order a half size up or down?
@ECI58582 күн бұрын
HI CJ i have been watching you channel since 2018 since i have been a red wing fan for over a decade even though they are very hard to buy here in asia so I only get to buy them whenever i visit the United States or Japan since i like to fit my shoes to be sure of the right fit. I remember discovering your channel when i was looking at reviews before buying my 9073 sheldons back then. Through your recommendations i will be picking up a 9060 and a 3340 when my family visits Tokyo in a couple of weeks. I hope you can do a review of the new beckmans especially the 9419(black cherry) and 9422(cigar) and compare them to the old beckmans.

Another advantage of unlined boots, especially PNW boots with their thick leather is that they breath much better and keep your feet dry.

I love your videos about boots. I’m also fond of the Morrison because of the balance between elegance and utility but I have yet to buy a pair. My beaters are a pair of White’s 350 cruisers. Not as elegant as the Morrison but they are built like tanks. Great for hiking.
@CJCookАй бұрын
@@rg3412 thank you. Thank you for watching. How long have you had your White's 350 Cruisers?
@rg3412Ай бұрын
@@CJCook not long. Got them in January I think. They came much quicker than Whites advertises. I wear them daily unless I have to go to town. I live the mountains of Colorado, literally in the woods, so I do little or big hikes in them nearly every day. They are so comfortable I refuse to wear my other synthetic hiking boots (I have 2 pairs of Solomon and one pair of Italian mountaineering boots).
