@@ukwildlife Thank you so much😀 You know digiscoping has its limitations. Birds in flight is not possible and strong winds neither. Only manual focus. But for me it is like a sport getting the best quality out of it after all. Taking in consideration filming through an eyepiece of a birdingscope…😊 But now I am waiting for the om-1 / 150-400 to come for doing real photography/videography. Your content is much appreciated so I can learn about this setup 👍👍

@@ronschuddeboomdigiscoping3693 Dag Ron,dat geld voor mij ook.Het weer zit niet mee en maar overgestapt op paddestoelen wat ook een dankbaar onderwerp is. Ik probeer zoveel mogelijk soorten te filmen hier in de Maashorst en dus ook zoogdieren,planten insecten etc etc maar vooral gefocust op vogels.Ook ik ben op zoek naar een nieuwe uitrusting en volg veel testen op youtube en soms zijn de verschillen zo klein.Voorlopig kom ik uit op de Canon R6 mark ii en de Canon 100-500mm maar als er dadelijk een bridgecamera uit komt als opvolger van de CanonSX70HS zou ik dit ook uit overweging kunnen nemen.500mm vind ik eigenlijk te weinig en met een converter gaat de kwaliteit een stuk achteruit.De Canon R7 heeft een krop van 1,6 maar de fullframe kwaliteit van de andere modellen is beter en kroppen kan je dan later doen. Lastig allemaal......nog belangrijker is dat je plekken weet te vinden waar je van dichtbij in alle rust opnames kan maken en ik weet er genoeg te vinden hier in de Maashorst. @@gijsvermeulen5248 Als je alleen filmen doet is die Nikon P 1000 ook heel goed..mooie beelden in 4K heb ik langs zien komen op KZbin.. Knutfugl heeft mooie beelden. Het is wel een grote camera maar met enorme zoom, foto’s is niet z’n sterkste punt alleen. De prijs is ook gunstig, nieuw rind 1000€ en je hebt zeker statief nodig

@@ronschuddeboomdigiscoping3693 Dag Ron,ik film alleen maar op statief en ken ook veel mensen in mijn omgeving die de P1000 hebben en de videobeelden zijn van goede kwaliteit.Ik heb af en toe concact met Knut en weet dat hij iets aan zijn witbalans en kleurcorrectie doet.Hij haalt echt alles uit zijn camera!! Nadeel is inderdaad gewicht en bij 3000mm ( 60x telezoom ) is de beeldkwaliteit matig en dat is ook niet verwonderlijk en dan heb je ook nog de wind.Op een open vlakte is het haast niet te doen. Al met al wel een goede camera.Iemand vertelde mij ooit dat 20x zoom ( 1000mm) wel genoeg is anders gaat de beeldkwaliteit te ver achteruit.Ik heb ook even de P950 uitgeprobeerd maar vond mijn camerabeelden net iets sprankelender en scherper.Groetjes Gijs

Hi Phil thank you for your kind words😀👍 I use the Swarovski 115mm scope and I use the sleeve you use for mounting the TLS APO but I do not use the TLS APO. Instead I use thé Digidapter adapter. I mount my Sony A6300 aps-c camera with the Samyang or Sigma lens attached on the plate of the Digidapter and I slide it over the sleeve on the scope. You can find videos about this Digidapter on KZbin 😀👍

@@ronschuddeboomdigiscoping3693 hello Ron, thank you for your reply answering my question, but I now have another, sorry. You mention the digiadapter !! Is that the one from a few ago ?? It came with a number of different threaded spigots on, and you could attach a compact digital camera by the lens filter thread, or some of the earlier Nikon and canon had a threaded shroud that you could remove and link up that way. Coincidentally, I have my old DCA adapter, is it the same diameter, and if so, is that what you are referring too?? Sorry if I’m being being a nuisance but I don’t quite follow how you’ve linked up.

I do not use the TLS APO 30mm. I use the Digidapter adapter together with my Sony A6300 aps-c camera and Sigma 30mm f2.8 lens mounted on that camera. I do a little in post processing simply on my ipad in the apple free photo app where you can also do video editing👍😀

@@ronschuddeboomdigiscoping3693 Ah, right. Thats impressive. I suppose the adapter does fix the camera relative to the eyepiece. The TLS has a 30mm lens built in - have you tried it for comparison?

After purchasing the Digidapter I can play a little bit with the diafragma on the lens/camera combination it is just a little bit more versatile in my opinion, a little bit more dept of field to play with. Hi Giuseppe..yes on my Sony a6300 sits the Samyang 35mm f2.8 lens. This lens and camera are mounted on a platform(Digidapter) right in front of the scope’s eyepiece 😀

Good morning , i use the Swarovski ATX 115mm objective telescope paired with the Sony a6300 aps-c camera and Samyang 35mm f2.8 lens using the Digidapter adapter to get a perfect alignment of the camera to the scope👍😀

Yes i am filming through the eyepiece of the scope. You can get an enormous reach when you put the scope on 70x magnification on an aps-c body with 1,5x crop factor. I do not know exactly in this video but the full frame equivalent can get you to over 3000mm. Have a look at The power of Digiscoping, which is in my playlist.

Dankje… het is en blijft een heel gedoe dat digiscopen maar dat maakt het ook weer leuk aan de andere kant. Deze week had ik bijna een “normale” camera met lens combinatie gekocht in de fotowinkel voor bijna 10.000 €(!) …maar de angst brak me bijna uit. Met digiscopen is het leuk als het lukt maar met die dure camera+lens combinatie ben je verplicht om goede resultaten te leveren en erop uit te gaan elke dag om de hoge aanschafsprijs te kunnen verantwoorden ( voor mij althans…). Nog maar even goed over nadenken. Ik ben lid van je kanaal en je maakt mooie opnamen maar kan helaas geen comments geven want je hebt dat( denk ik) uitgeschakeld… groetjes Ron

Beginners? This is going straight to the top of the line spotters going with Swarovski. Buy the most expensive that you can possibly buy first time so you won't lose money by having to upgrade later. The Kowa 99 series is also another comparable top of the line option for less money than the Swarovski a.d of you buy from dealers that are willing to offer further discount prices you might find it for $3000.00 with free shipping and no tax.

I can shoot at 70x when shooting video but often when the sun is out that will the obstructing factor (heatwaves).. I have the rod apo but I do not use it.. I use the Digidapter in conjunction with my Sony A6300 aps-c. camera with Samyang 15-28mm f2.8 lens

Thank you yes wind can be a problem but this day nearly no wind. I use a Really right stuff(RRS) heavy duty carbon tripod and a manfrotto videohead. I use 30x-70x times magnification on my Swarovski atx 115 mm scope
