This was great. A lot of people react to the Righteous Brothers, or the film Dirty Dancing, but miss this song. I could tell this was going to be a great reaction when you said you loved Bill, and older music. I was not disappointed. Much love to you. Jennifer was the backup singer to the coolest man whoever lived, Leonard Cohen. He is also worth listening to. A true sensitive artist, and poet.

Couple of things. The Beatles did not play any instruments on this song. Two, they were only in their mid 20's when they wrote and performed this song. Who is thinking like this at 25 when everyone else is performing rock and being rebellious, yet they told a story from the parents point of view even though they were about the same age as the girl in the song.

My dad told me that seeing the firemen walking up towards the WTC made him cried. The reason was they knew they weren’t coming back. He also remembers the sound of body parts hitting the streets. When the buildings finally went down it made it look like it was nighttime. I was a little kid 4-5 years old when this happened. I remember hearing my auntie’s desperate cries. My cousin, her only child, was killed in tower 1.

Robin Gibb is buried near my mothers house in Thame Oxfordshire. My family was there at his funeral. We weren't allowed in the church even though I worked for the church at that time .
