Pianoは 大野さんですな。 あの 角川映画やルパン三世の音楽を世に送り出してくれました。 日野皓正氏もこの頃から 良いアジ出してますね。 最高です。

To all singers or would-be singers of this little gem: make friends with a Brazilian or two or three. Not only will you find them delightful people, but they can guide you through some of the pitfalls of Brazilian Portuguese. My personal favorite version on YT is by Gerard Souzay, both for pronunciation and the sheer beauty of his tone, and the intoxicating leisureliness of his rhythm. (Sopranos seem to love the song, even though the gender is a man singing to a woman.) (I've played it for sopranos, but never for a male singer. Zhal')

トランペットっとはこう吹け！っていうお手本のような、技術的にもエモーショナルな面でも、非の打ち所のない完璧なバラード。 いろいろあちこちでヘンな形で名前が売れて（？）、ヘンなフィルターかけて見に来る素人が出てきて嫌な思いをすることもある昨今でありますが、この演奏があるだけでも僕はずっと日野さんの味方です。 近年のちょっとマイルスを２周遅れで追いかけてるような演奏は正直難しすぎて僕にはわかりませんが、この頃の日野さんはホントに凄かった。 カッコいいを通り過ぎたスーパースターだよ。

「ロングイエローロード」は自作のシグネチャー、これはスタンダードで秋吉さんの作曲ではないのだけれど、同じくシグネチャー。毎回アレンジとインプロビゼーションが違う。常に追求し続けているんですね。

Saw him at a club in Kuala Lumpar some 20 years ago. Didn't know what to expect being bought up on jazz in England even though that did include Miles . I got a great night of memorable music.......and still have the ticket ! A wonderful musician.
