Was and still am a huge fan. I'll never forget watching this at a friend's place and immediately recognized Godflesh playing which shocked me as, at least where I am in Canada, they were and are unheard of. Apparently Sony just bought their label and probably thought they could be a new NIN or something as this was definitely becoming a popular genre. Longlive the new flesh.

They were in the movie they look a little stiff during it Is this supposed to be like when cannibal corpse was in ace Ventura The music doesn't match the intensity I know it's mimed over

Haha, people always shit on this movie (especially if they read the book first) but I dig it man. I love cheesy, low budget horror & thriller films like this, that were so abundant in that era. Couldn’t get enough of ‘em; still can’t! Haha, I have this on vhs and dvd, but have still yet to acquire another copy of the soundtrack. I have damn near every track on that soundtrack separately, but would definitely like to get another copy of the original soundtrack - and the poster for the film would be a nice cherry on top, lol

I like how you sounded almost like Stephen King while praising a Dean Koontz story... "I dig it man" is something I would expect to hear from King! Hideaway might be my favorite book from Koontz but I also love Fear Nothing.

dang why have more films not used Godflesh's music? this scene would just be hilarious otherwise but Nihil adds a genuine sense of dread.

Just saw GODFLESH live in concert two days ago. It was awesome. Concert footage on my channel which I've linked to this video. So wild remembering this scene and seeing them live nearly 30 years later. 🤘

I thought they were gone many years ago. Even before the internet became popular. I'm a big fan and I have difficulty finding all the songs, I've downloaded a lot of songs from KZbin over the years for fear that they would become forgotten.

Great song for such a creepy, tense moment. The coldness and bleakness of Godflesh perfectly matches the idea of a serial killer choosing his target.
