Every Command to the computer let the vents blow. 10 years ago I had a leakage. It kills the Power Supply. I got a new one and a prozessor with heatsink. I didn’t use it much, because I bought a Mac Mini Late 2012. Now the Power Mac G5 stands together with a M1 Ultra Mac Studio and XDR Display. The latter is 500 times faster than the G5.

Win xp maybe. To run old game. Linux :no. The os is maybe light. You can find lightweight linux but it cant run smothly any web thesedays

I had to abandon my $1700 PC and $600 HUION Kamvas for a $250 iPad Pro 12.9 2018 and my god iPad OS is TERRIBLE for actual multitasking and SERIOUS productivity. Apple loves to shill these things to professionals as workhorses but you do not want to do anything super serious on these things at risk of data and precious time. If I would have known that Procreate would be the only thing that made it worth glancing at, then I would have just gotten a Lenovo Yoga for the same amount of money. Hobby artists and people who sketch a lot and won't use the device for anything else? Go ahead. Get it. Actual professionals who need multiple tools? Buy a 2-in-1 PLEASE.

Had an air 2 since launch day. Loved that thing. I’ve done thousands of drawings and designs for work on that thing. watched thousands of hours of por…uhh movies on it. All until I was forced to upgrade to the new 13 inch m4 iPad Pro last week. Gotta say I got more use out of the Air 2 than any other Apple product or tech device I’ve ever owned. Here’s hoping that the M4 pro has a life that long.

This was my first ipad. I'm on the M4 pro now, but I loved that mini so much. I did get mine with iOS 8.1 out the box, so did upgrade to the first gen air the next year

I’m currently changing from using Spotify to an iPod (and owning my own music). It’s incredible when I find on iTunes songs that WISHED I could stream, and now I own them. Also, the price increase in streaming services is just absurd, it makes sense using a student discount (I’m still using mine), but when that’s over, you can buy like 10 songs a month for the base fee of this services.

My sister does own an iPad Mini (1st Gen) in which I was able to use as well back when we were in College in exchange for my iPod Touch 5th Gen.. definitely an awesome Tablet back then.. Still works perfectly fine RN and using it sometimes for Spotify..

one time my iphone 8 broke so i had to go back to using my iphone 4 for ish a month before i could get a new phone and the experience wasnt that bad cus i still had access to spotify and snapchat

iPad Pro is often bigger now the. It needs to be for a travel power user. For most of us seriously power working use a Mac so a MacBook Pro is the true mobile office & workhorse. iPad Pro is an awesome intermediate & for a different type of creative user. But as a team, they’re awesome. But yes, give us Pro features to work side by side with our Mac & phone

By an objective technicality yes the iPad is a computer, there is just no getting around that. However I think the question your asking is on par with high end professional desktop Operating Systems. It’s really just comparing Apples to oranges pun partly intended.

tip for minecraft: there is a version of minecraft on macintosh repository called “Minecraft Fast SP” and it’s WAY more efficient than MC PPC edition. I managed to get 60 fps on my PowerBook G4 with the graphics turned all the way down, and around 45 fps with the graphics on medium!

i have the same issue with slow youtube on my powerbook g4, but i’ve noticed if you pause the video for about 30 seconds to 1 minute after it loads, the video plays smooth

They didn’t fix the G5 until its end of production, the last batch released in 2005 were perfect, my G5 quad is whisper quiet.

I found this same iPhone and I am using it as a mp3 player bc it has Bluetooth for my AirPods rather then my mp3 player bc mp3 doesn’t have Bluetooth
