Thank you Egle for your solo jazz videos, especially this one! All solo jazz steps are fun, but i like to put in my lindy dance the funniest ones like you. I would like you to take in consideration some of those ones in you next "funny steps" video: Bunny Hop, Birds, Tabby the Cat, Hang Man, Happy Feet, Duck Walk, Hitchhiker, Tic Tocs, Camel Walk, Pimp Walk, Drunken Sailor, Gaze Afar, Pecks/Turkey Troats. Thank you again!❤
@SoloJazzPower11 күн бұрын
Thank you for your compliments! Wow, so many moves! 😄 From the list I know only Camel Walk and Gaze Afar. I would love to learn the others myself. Or maybe I do know them but don't know the names.
@carlobruno959211 күн бұрын
@@SoloJazzPower sure you know them! I'd like to show you an alphabetical solo jazz steps made by all around Ukraina teachers (before the war, sigh!) so you can find the names watching it, but youtube doesn't allow me to link it. Can you give me an email where to write you Egle?
Loved the improv at the end! Other funky moves? Shouts? Shorty George? Mess around?

@@SoloJazzPower awesome! I’ll look out for that 😆 I’ve been following your videos during my own practice times and they’ve been amazing just by itself ✨ keen to see what other wisdom u have in regards to practicing and getting better! And maybe how we can improve our movements to look better for competitions, instead of just feeling better

Hi there. I would like to ask in Solo Jazz, the man and women use the same foot step ? Which I can see you use your right foot first. In Lindy Hop pair with partner. I learn that leader always use our left foot first. Thanks !
@SoloJazzPower2 ай бұрын
Yes, in Solo Jazz it doesn't matter which leg to start. Some basic moves do start from right, but can be done with left as well. As in Lindy Hop, you are right, leaders start with left and followers with right. Me, being also a follower in Lindy Hop, I just use my right leg way more often, because I'm used to it.
