Hi, do you know how to do validation in DEM software? I am new in ROCKY DEM. In case of Ansys Fluent, normally we use several parameters such as Residual Value, Conservation of Mass and Energy, Mesh Independency Test and Iteration test. How about DEM? Hello. This is a coupled simulation between Rocky DEM and Ansys Mechanical, performing a transient structural analysis. The loads from particles are exported from Rocky to Mechanical several times and, each time, a steady-state implicit analysis is carried out.
