I used to listen to this on my dad’s National Panasonic HIfi , sitting in cardboard box spaceships that my grandfather would make for me from old packaging boxes and bottle caps and poster paints. Happy, happy times … it was as good as fighting the Empire myself ❤

Not going to lie- this is how as a kid in the 1990s, I found out Darth Vader was Luke's father. We were going to Taco Bell and I had one of thos Yoda Mirror banks and when they played "I am your father" I visibly gasped in the car.

i got this for christmas one year on tape with my little cassette player i listened to it over and over again till i knew the dialogue word for word and did the voices oh the wonderful memories thanks so much

Aha amazing! Haven't heard this in like 35 years! I just realized now (somehow I didn't pick up on this as a child) but they aren't using the actual actors dialogue clips and the dialogue is actually different slightly. Wonder why that was eh? Isn't this an official SW release?

MAN! I got the for my birthday around 1980/81. Cassette pack with SW & ESB. I had only seen the 2nd film- this was my first experience of the original Star Wars. I remember this word for word and the character voices. I didn't realise they were voiced by different people until I saw ANH when it was re-released a year or two later. I don't know HOW many times I listened to these!
