Hi, may I ask your opinion? As you-ve used both Pfaff and Bernina, if you had to choose,wWhich machine would you choose, Pfaff 4.5 or Bernini 735?
@QuiltingOnABudgetVideos Жыл бұрын
They each have their pros and cons. I also have a Pfaff Creative Sensation. I am moving to Bernina. For dealer and reliability and price in my region. Think Pfaff has prettier embroidery but the difference is minimal. Only can tell difference holding up together. Pfaff IDT is more precise and reliable. But Pfaff is automated, locking you out of certain options. It is a personal choice. But one big thing is the Bernina Jumbo bobbins are absolutely amazing
@doredys Жыл бұрын
@@QuiltingOnABudgetVideos I find the free arm on the Bernina and the jumbo bobbin the main diferencial. On the other hand the Pfaff seems to have more creative stitches, easier to manage, has IDT incorporated and cheaper accessories compared to Bernina. Not an easy choice for sure. Thank you for answering 🌱
@QuiltingOnABudgetVideos Жыл бұрын
@@doredys it is not an easy answer and both are fantastic machines. And you answered the your question, and that is why I am lucky to have both. Now suggest test drive and discover which is best for you based in how and what you create.

I think the colors in this block are beautiful. For higher loft, you might try polyester batting. I have always used polyester due to my husband having asthma from cotton lint he breathed as a child on his parents cotton farm. It has a nice loft.
@HunterDeuling Жыл бұрын
I am slowly changing. I started would only use Natural Fibers in my projects. But slowly let go. Used here is a 50/50 cotton polyester batting. Really like it.

Rob I have the old 570 which does not have all these extra features. I'm thinking of upgrading and am not sure which machine to consider. I'm sort of afraid of the wider throat plate. I had a 730 years ago and felt like I could never get an accurate 1/4" seam allowance. I quilt a lot so that's very important. What machine do you think would be good for me?
@jean-roberthunterdeuling72052 жыл бұрын
The big difference is the bigger bobbins and a few stitches. If you are not into embroidery go with the newer 570. The new 570 and 590 are basically the same except for embroidery. Also you will move to the 97d foot which is beyond fantastic for 1/4_ seams and many other things.

please work on your camera work ... try backing up the camera 10 inches and more over head ... too often you are working off to the side or put the iron in the center of the camera view .... My hubby and I built a simple over head camera stand.... braces come up from the sides of the table and we put plexi glass spanning from brace to brace then had a few holes in the plexi glass where the camera zoom lens comes thru ... once in focus it works pretty good to allow us to demonstrate my sewing and his crafting.
