Pet dragon! AHHHH so exciting! Out of curiosity I don't remember if it was said, is the baby fairy dragon scaly or furry or able to change at will? Also I'd love if there were a couple of options for familiars/animal companions in the final game.

They are scaly. And after Niamh's question I have been inspired to add more. So far the Witch now has a familiar and the Druid has an animal companion. Not sure if the mystic will get anything but we can wait and see
