I just watched a bunch of tutorials and found this one very interesting because I do a lot of Yeti Tumblers with company logos and this would help greatly. I was wondering if it is available as a free or purchase only Macro. I have looked for it but can't find anything about it. Even Doug Green couldn't help me out locating it. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us all.

Anyone got this working yet? I've updated my firmware to 1.1.0.2 but no matter what browser I use I get a "server stopped responding" message when I enter my laser's IP on my iPad Pro

Thank you for reaching out. I would start by checking to be sure the laser has a solid internet connection; be sure you can PING the laser and get a reply to/from the IP Address listed on the laser. Have a question related to mail merge from Excel to Corel . Whenever I merge phone numbers with 10 digits it works fine but in case there are 2 ph. numbers separated with comma for eg. 99999999999, 99999999999 in corel merge file this entry remains blank with no data in that particular field. Please suggest.

Can you help me? I have an Epilogue. When I send the file from Illustrator and press settings to get to Epilog's program to set cut settings, I don't see the whole window. Got a new computer with Window 11. Guess it's a setting but I can't find the right one.

It has two camera but only uses one for each lens so you need to manually determine how offset your mark will be vs what the software is showing no matter how well calibrated your Galvo focus is.😂

It is true - the mark will be in a different location than shown in camera view, IF the galvo platform is either raised or lowered through OFFSET. The laser beam is coming from a fixed location, changing the focal plane will result in the laser going to a different location on the workpiece. The camera feature is awesome, and the offset feature is great as well, they just don’t work well together. Many of the G100 apps will be single plane marking and for those multi plane apps, we will need to set up the artwork relative to the areas to be marked. Thanks for commenting. Have a great day!

@@rlayoutubeThank you for the comment. To better clarify, the issue I have is using the camera assist to place graphics accurately. For instance, accurately placing a circular mark on a circular object just using the camera assist is not possible for me at least. The camera angle is extreme enough that I cannot get it accurately lined up. If material is small, like 50mm in diameter and the placement is off by 1-2mm it is very noticable. I was hoping not to have to set up a new jig for every job that requires. mm level accuracy. I am open to recommendations. My second issue is doing relief and contour engraving, 2.5D etc. Unlike my Fusion pro, there is no 3D setting and I cannot find any documentation on how to get this machine to engrave 3d grayscale. How often do you recommend cleaning the lens?

Generically speaking you want to check your lens & mirrors every week or two. Specifically it depends on what materials you are cutting, how much residue is being put into the laser system, how well maintained your exhaust and/or fume extraction is performing. And alwasy be sure your air assist is ON; especially during cutting; there's some debate about it being required during engraving, but again that depends on the material & exhaust performance.

Thanks for a very clear description. I didn't catch where we configure the computer's IP address. The Zing manual mentions it but the steps are not very clear. (I just wish the USB installation worked as easy as it does on all my diode lasers :)

That's Control Panel | Network & Sharing Center | Ethernet "Local Area Connection / Change Adapters. over the 12 years that I have had my Helix 24 I have replaced the ribbon cable twice, This time I before reinstalling it I put electrical tape on the top and bottom of the section the travels with the laser head assembly. Both times I replaced the ribbon cable it was worn through from rubbing on the inside of the cover hood.

I know this is along shot but would you happen know if the lens is an 18 or 20mm or somewhere size. We have a (probably) slightly older model its a 70 or 75 watt epilog that looks really similar to the m2. And our 2inch lens has been cracked for sometime and I really would like to replace it. Thank you
