Hello! I got everything to work and looks great so far. But the text is not 100% in the center of the button I'm using (more padding on the bottom than top). Is there a way to adjust the leading while keeping the button as is?

Hi there! I suspect you may be able to fix this by experimenting with your basleine or font height settings helpx.adobe.com/illustrator/using/align-text.html#font-height-reference. Sure, I'd be happy to! Any specific requirements or examples you'd like to see? I would typically do this with gradients and blending modes that work best in RBG for digital output.

Hi Helena! Yes good news you can do that now. This particular video is a bit dated as it was released when Firefly was still in Beta, but you should now have the option to upload your flower photo as either "Structure" reference which uses the composition of your image or a "Style" reference which uses the colors and lighting form your image to affect the results of the generation. You'll find these option on the left column in the Firefly page under the structure and style sections. Hope that helps!

Turned out fantastic in the tutorial, but when I saved as a graphic style for use in another file, it puts a glowing bounding box around whatever shape I draw...the glow is not limited to the shape itself. I have no idea where I went wrong? I would love to be able to reuse this effect.

Hi Paula, it sounds like either you may need to adjust the padding around the glow effect (see the step at 06:30 in this video and repeat that in your new file to see if that helps,) or it may be an effect scaling issue, I did a supplementary video about using the effect on smaller or larger art here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/Z5bQeHhsq716Z68 If neither of those help please feel free to contact me here: vectorart.academy/contact/ with more details and I'll do my best to help you get it working for you!

@@VectorArtAcademy I have always painted realistic fine art… a few years ago I decided to learn Illustrator and it was over whelming but I have learned a lot.. the course I took was on surface pattern design. My problem is, I want a little more dimension and not so cartoonish. I don’t love the outlines around the motif and the motif needs shading and texture. There is sooo much to learn. I am sure you know how to do this, so any tutorials would be great!
