Who would be the "god of war" in Jerusalem? 😅
@Man_of_dirt18 сағат бұрын
@ what? It would obviously be kratos if the series had integrity, have you not played the game?
@SocratesPlays16 сағат бұрын
I think you misunderstood me. I mean, there are many gods in both Greek and Norse mythologies, whereas in "Jerusalem," there would be only one, wouldn't there? If Kratos is the only god of war, what would he be doing in Jerusalem? I want to know how you think this story could unfold.
@Man_of_dirt15 сағат бұрын
@ I think you lack creativity. He could work his way through the wise men and prophets, Noah, Moses up to Jesus, onto satan and yahweh , throw some angels and archangels into the mix, there’s plenty of content

Perhaps you are right about my creativity. Although, I only wanted wanted to know where you would take the story if you were one of the developers. Thank you for that. 😊

Eh, they were heavily implied (at least one of them) to be a pedo, given the way they talked to Atreus. So I have zero pity for them, or at least THAT guy.

@@SocratesPlays really? the creepy way that one brother talked about making atreus his new little brother didn't come off as predatory to you?
@happyninja42Күн бұрын
@@SocratesPlays yeah so i just rewatched the magni/modi scenes, and i can't see how you didn't see the implied sexual tones to his dialogue. first bit is when kratos is climbing the cliff leading up to Mimir, and the brothers are talking, Modi says "I get the kid right?!" his tone very eager, to which his brother replies "what is wrong with you?!" clearly disgusted with Modi asking the question. Then there is the bit after Modi returns after you kill Magni, where he flat out says "i'm going to make you my new brother, and I'm going to get to know you....REALLY well." Heavily sneering on the "really" word, implying all kinds of nastiness. And overall just all of his lines being sexual in nature. Talking about Atreus' mom as a whore, mocking Atreus about not being able to suckle his mother's teet, talking about giving it to her right before Atreus stabs him. Just overall a sexual predator with pretty much every line he utters. And especially implied when talking to the CHILD he is fighting. So yeah, he's a pedo.
@SocratesPlaysКүн бұрын
You might be right. The only thing I noticed was Modi trying to get under Atreus's skin when talking about his mom.
@happyninja42Күн бұрын
@@SocratesPlays right, but he was also talking creepy when he didn't know Atreus could hear him, like the bit where he asks his brother "I get the kid right?!" and his brother is clearly disgusted. Also Sindri, when talking about the brothers to Kratos, to give the first exposition about them, when he says Modi's name he makes a disgusted sound, and says he wouldn't touch that guy at all. Now sure, Sindri's got some germaphobia going on, but coupling that with the other stuff, and the fact that it's the ONLY detail he gives about him, that he's disgusting on every level, and the other stuff, I think it's meant to be heavily implied. Possibly to help justify Atreus killing him later in the game for the player's conscience? To lessen the dark act of clearly murdering a helpless man, on his knees in front of him.

i thought he did it because he was shipping slaves, is that not what was happening?
@SocratesPlaysКүн бұрын
I'm honestly not sure. A lot of people speculate the same, but I haven't seen any evidence of it in the game. Besides, why would Kratos regret killing a slaver?

And this is why the new game suck cuz they s*** on a legacy that is great there was nothing wrong with the original story he did everything he was supposed to do if you have a problem with that the developers of the new ones should have decided to make a game of their own instead of taking something that wasn't theirs and turning it into dog s***

I'm sorry to hear you didn't like them. In my opinion, the new games don't affect the old ones. They represent different eras in Kratos's story, with different motivations.

"Will you play a song, brother?" "It was my daughter's. I carved it for her as a gift. She enjoyed playing and was skilled with it. The day my family died was not the last time i saw Calliope. I had journeyed to the underworld to rescue Helios. When I arrived, I heard Calliope's song on the wind and found her in the fields of elysium. It had been long since I felt such joy. But it was another trick of the gods. The goddess of the underworld wished to destroy all of creation, elysium included. She knew that for me to stand against her meant leaving Calliope behind forever. So... I pushed my daughter away again. All while she cried and begged me not to. When I left Greece, Calliope was never far from my mind. But I do still think of her in elysium and hope she found peace." "..brother."

Seeing Kratos so humble after all he’s done just makes you wonder how deep someone’s capacity for compassion and understanding can go. Albeit this is a video game, but there’s a lot of human like scenarios of grief, happiness, strife, trials and tribulations, etc. Compassion and understanding though always leads to unconditional love ❤
