They don’t come with a stainless steel bracelet.. that’s an aftermarket thing.. buy one with fixed lugs, spring bars are absolutely shocking bad , if you’re using it as a proper tool watch, get the fixed lugs. I sent that one back to get the fixed lugs , MWC were very happy. Trust me they are wall able to go diving with

Did you end up selling this? I had the exact same issue after taking my g1x mk2 apart to replace the LCD flex cable. I opened it up again to clean and reconnect the two cables for the back panel. I found this fixed th inversion and the problem I had with none of the rear buttons working. However the display no longer flips when I open the lcd into the selfie position, which is something I can live with. But it proved the the issue is simply the connection of the cable/s. I've had my camera almost 10 y and love it, it takes great photos. If you still have yours hope you can get it working like new again.

Its competant in taking photos. Adding the photos to social media via wi-fi is a problem. You can only transfer files with the SD Card removed and then placed into your phone. Or you can use a suitable card reader attached to laptop.

I really wouldn't recommend charging via the body regularly - at least for the G7X m2 you have there (and its not a hack, its an obvious feature). There are a lot of drawbacks to using the body to charge the camera where your camera has a micro-b port instead of a usb-c one. Canon cameras with micro-b ports (including the G7X m2 you have there) use the usb 2.0 standard. Which means charging via the body is going to be much, much slower than using a dedicated charger for the battery. This isn't a problem on the newer bodies with USB C, which allow for much higher speed charging and data transfer, but micro-b charging is just slow. Changing an empty battery for a full one lets you keep using your camera. Charging a single battery via a powerbank means you aren't able to use your camera (duh), and if you are on micro-b then you are also charging at a very slow speed as well. Pretty much all of the canon compacts still come with a dedicated charger in box anyway so not sure why you would want to charge by the body in the first place. Micro-b ports also wear out a lot faster than usb-c. Given that the port is also your data port, it is definitely not the best idea to wear it out using it as your primary means of charging - especially if you plan on using it as a webcam/for video connected to an external PC etc. Getting the port fixed is going to cost heck of a lot more than having a spare battery.
