Hi, I was wondering if the symposium „Understanding Ellen G. White and her Prophetic Gift Today" that is going to be held 19 - 21 April 2024. will be streamed live online for remote attendees like myself who may not be able to attend in person?

When responding to the presentation of a paper (Desmond Ford, The Investigative Judgment and the Everlasting Gospel, at the October 29, 1979 presentation at P.U.C.) one would think Dr. Pedersen would quote more of what Des ACTUALLY said than what he SUPPOSEDLY said, including the phrase(s): ‘A gushing fountain … of the Adventist distortion of the gospel. As expressed in Last Generation Theology.’ ‘Gushing fountain of our corruption of the eternal gospel.’ But in fact, I have the original transcript and I searched it and did not find in it the expressions/words 'gushing fountain', Adventist distortion or even distortion, or corruption. Neither did it mention the phrase Last Generation Theology which term I think was coined later. In fact, Des was opposing the doctrine of the investigative judgment, a subject which Dr. Pedersen does not specifically address. The Apostle Paul taught the true gospel, and stated clearly that there was only one of them: But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed. Galatians 1:6-12 King James Version If Adventism is teaching a completely different gospel than the rest of Christianity, we should question ourselves .

Amen brother well spoken and clearly defined our Lamb and our Almighty GOD 🙏🙏🙏 in this world of confusion and selfish self esteem of people who debate over who knows best unlike our Original Savior the Lamb of God who remained silent and yet said " You have said so" regarding his deity.

"Gal 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me." In spite of having sinful nature, man can stop sinning. We will be sinners by the time of Jesus second comming, due to our sinful nature, but that does not mean we cannot stop sinning. Otherwise Jesus words : "go and sin nomore" would be meaningless. This is not so called "last generation theology", this was basicaly the Gospel from the beginning. People rediscovered this in 1888: Imputed righteousness is the righteousness of Jesus credited to the Christian, enabling the Christian to be justified; imparted righteousness is what God does in Christ by the power of the Holy Spirit after justification, working in the Christian to enable and empower the process of sanctification. Godspeed

I think there is a difference between meritocracy and perfectionism. Meritocracy is necessary for a functioning democracy, where we delegate and assign tasks to those most suited and capable. Perfectionism is a distortion of meritocracy that says only those that perform perfectly have merit. Having said that, the progressive/liberal side of the church channels the impetus for spiritual perfection into work-related meritocracy, this producing a generation of workaholic Adventist professionals.

There’s some confusion here when it comes to the interplay between divine sovereignty and foreknowledge. Here’s another take on the same topic kzbin.info/www/bejne/h2fFlnSqfcZ2p9U

The time of the second coming of Christ matters not ,only God knows. The timing is important in your life. We have limited time to come to Christ ,than He is already here with us . What matters is that the Kingdom of Heaven is in your heart ,that Christ will recognize you as His brother.

Hi, with my sincere respect, I would suggest that the audio balance between instruments and vocals is not set well for the live stream, (compared to the sound in person) I believe could be better. :)
