Hii, can i use lake house to automatic my power bi dashboard, like I have to upload 3,4 excel files daily, so i want to upload it to a lake house and connect it with my dashboard, so everyday my dashboard can be refreshed automatically. Pls guide me, if this can be done in this way or not???

Got a specific question and don’t know how to navigate. I have an Azure Manager SQL Instance in the same Resource Group as my Fabric capacity however I cannot for the life of me get Fabric Data Factory to connect to it. I can connect to the instance remotely SSMS. Any idea what to trouble shoot? Looks networking related somehow.

Hello, insightful video, excellent work. Can you please elaborate on the necessity of the input parameter? I know if there is no input parameter the table comes up as "?". Do you know a way around that, that doesn't require adding the ALTER PROCEDURE. For instance, if it was just a SELECT statement as the stored proc. Ty

Great call! And good idea for an upcoming video! For now you can spin up a new M365 Dev Tenant (free), then a Power BI tenant (free), and last a Fabric Trial (free for 60 days). The trick here is that Copilot is only available for P1 or F64 instances on Fabric (not Trial). But you can leverage an Azure Subscription (free USD 200) and add your own Fabric Capacity for testing purposes. Stay tuned for that video!

Great info, though at this stage Microsoft Fabric Mirroring options are not yet available in Data Warehouse experience and still in Private Preview😢

Exactly as you mention, this is a Private Preview feature and you can sign up to be part of the preview, or just checking on the Fabric roadmap, the goal is to open to Public Preview by Q1 2024. Thanks for the comment!

Excellent content, but I have a question. If a company only has Power BI PRO users, can it always use a domain property? Or is it just in the preview phase and whoever is using it now won't be able to use it again in a while?

For now in the meanwhile Fabric Public Preview is open you can do a trial and spin up domains without constraints. You also are able to spin up your own Fabric capacity in Azure Portal anytime

Great question! Now there is no native connection to those artifacts in Fabric available in Power Automate. Couple of approaches: create a custom connector through the Fabric Rest API, or wait until the product team release a native connector from PowerAutomate to Fabric. More to come soon!!! I don't really care for the term "citizen developer". I get why ms decided to use that term but there are levels of complexity to all of these products and there is a point where not everyone can learn all that is needed. Honestly ms Access could have been a citizen developer tool. I know this comment has little to do with the video. A lot of users not knowing the fundamentals of handling data are creating a lot of puddles within the swap. Not to mention the number of apps generating random unstructured data.
