Yea I found that if I didn’t do the region intel quests to make the summons weaker, it was quite challenging to beat them.

@@StainedGlassGaming2023 i hope when they release reunion they take that garbage away and just give us summons like the old game. I don’t like the level up thing either

Agreed, im not too fond of the leveling system. I think they could have done a much better job of how experience is gained. I do like how they handled acquiring new summon materia though. I could see them going back to the method of discovering new materia, but rebirth compared to remake, the overall quality of life improvements are really positive.

Yea im getting ready to start chapter 8. I like the open world concept, but it can make completing a region quite a lengthy endeavor.
