Saw Elton in concert September 1984, 10 days before my first child was born. This was the first song he played...goosebumps..

This song was Elton John's finest hour and to be put into this iconic scene makes this one for the ages. The scene captures the greatness of the 70's.

What I love about this is it both honours and expands the lore of the oringal movie opening a world of the supernatural and other strange beasts

I feel sorry for those people who missed the years from 1964 to 1979. If you think your generation is the best, you are mistaken. Most young people had some connection to music, sex, and drugs, but not necessarily in that order. It was wild, sometimes dangerous, and even fatal. But what isn't all of those things? So if you see some old guy with a ponytail in the back of your mind---way back---feel that he has brought a little bit of it with him. So that is my spiel, and I will stick with it. Peace out!🎉

Kate Hudson is the definition of mid, but Hollywood sure tried to shove her down our throats for a while back there.
I wonder if this is Canon to Deadpool & Wolverine 😭

Wow, in 1974 I was in primary school thinking life wasn't fair! I Australia we had countdown on Saturday and Sunday. Molly would make himself look like a bit of an idiot. I remember we wouldn't be home all day no electronic devices hanging with friends and thinking how much we couldn't stand school and how our parents shouldn't make us go, Now I am 60 and thinking back it was awesome and so were the eighty's. I remember the first performer I ever saw in concert, Billy Joel at theby town hall it was awesome. Since then I have traveled the world and seen hundreds of bands and I must admit the oldies are still some of the best! It's so sad life has become so overtaken by stress and technology.

I remember watching this movie by chance, I knew nothing about it, and it was so long ago. But to this day it's still one of my favorite movies and this scene still makes my eyes water, because despite their differences, it's the love for music that brought them together and keeps them together no matter what. We all need friends like that.
