I forget if you've played it at all but one I recommend at some point is No Straight Roads. In this rhythm beat em up developed by the Malaysian group Metronomik, you play as the duo Zuke & Mayday AKA Bunkbed Junction, a 2 person indie rock band trying to break out into the heavily EDM dominated music scene that also acts as the town's energy source. After a failed audition in the form of the tutorial (the judges are heavily biased against rock for some reason), the duo makes it their mission to beat the top charted artists at their own game making the adventure more of a boss rush with all the attacks & stage hazards tied to the beat (unlike Hi-FI Rush, your attacks aren't so it's all about paying attention for when you should dodge or parry). Also, the boss themes will shift between rock & EDM variants based on how well you are doing for that extra flavor.

Hello everyone! First of all, great video, and second, I'm going to mention my personal bad final boss fight experience So, you know how Yiazmat has an absurd tonne of health? Imagine if you had to fight a similarly tanky final boss fight with extremely limited means of both fighting back, and recovering health, and you get Horatio the Immortal from Desktop Dungeons, specifically the Extreme version. Desktop Dungeons is in essence, dungeon crawling mixed with puzzle elements, town building and resource management. You have one goal in each dungeon you visit - defeat the boss (or bosses if there's more than one), that's it. Everything else, from exploring, to items and spells, to even enemies, is nothing more than means to that end, and there's usually a lot of options to accomplishing them. The Extreme Dungeons however, and particularly the Tower of Gaan Telet stretch that concept to their absolute limits The idea behind the tower is that, true to its name, it's a gauntlet of rooms with bosses you must defeat to progress. The regular version is fairly lenient in that it gives you three rooms that are randomly chosen from a pool of nine, while still remaining fairly challenging... The extreme Gaan Telet forces you to go through ALL NINE of them! Worse yet, these bosses all have various abilities and resistances that take full advantage of any weakness in the strategy you go for, and get progressively stronger with each new room you unlock. To say nothing of the debuffs like Weakness, or Corrosion just waiting to be stacked on top of you, and the rooms come with traps that are designed to stretch your resources even thinner. And what awaits you at the end of this monster of a dungeon? A self-aware goat with 5 thousand hp, in a game where very few enemies are able to crack 1 thousand health! This dungeon all but requires you to complete the other extreme dungeons, stack your town's storage with the op items from said dungeons, and go in with the most overpowered setup you can muster to even stand a chance of success, and even then it can fail depending on how unlucky you get with either the enemies you encounter, available items, or the order of rooms you have to fight through, and you cannot afford many mistakes, otherwise you run out of means to recover, or outlast Horatio effectively failing the dungeon. The only really good things about this fight is that Tower of Gaan Telet's music is really good, and the sheer catharsis of finally punching this goat's teeth in after it continued to screw over your kingdom as "H"...

Scarlet and Violet really went and gave us the best set of Legendaries the franchise has ever seen. Not only do they pack so much detail and personality into their designs, but they’re actually treated like proper CHARACTERS this time, and not just the plot device we catch at the end of the game. I’ve never felt so attached to a Legendary as I have for Koraidon or Ogerpon. I’d die for them.

Gotta say that I really enjoy the format of your list. Allows for highlighting older and overlooked gems which is really nice since discoverability is kind of an issue for a lot of games. Had not heard of "The Messenger" before and it seems like something I would really enjoy. Also all the Nintendo exclusives on the list seem like such fun it makes me regret not having a Switch.

12. When you said you were building up to a rival battle, I expected a Pokemon rival battle. And yes, this battle is still good. 11. Good but long and annoying 9. I stopped playing the X games after X4, since I heard every game after was bad. Not helped by how I wasn't a fan of X2-X4. No offense to people who like this game. 7. Definitely an awesome boss, though I personally prefer Argorok and Ganondorf. Still, I don't blame you for putting this boss on here. 4. This boss was definitely amazing. 2. I haven't reached this boss in the 2.5 version. I've only gotten this far in the PS2 version, where the fight isn't playable. Honorable mentions - I've only played the 3DS version of Generations. I did enjoy the Pikmin 3 boss. Quadraxis was also fun but kinda annoying.

IDK if you'll make a worst X weapons list, but I'll throw my own. 10. Fire Wave: X1 has my favorite weapon list of any X game, but I have to give it some flak here. While it's good for multi-hit, its range is short, and the charge shot only works on grounded enemies. 9. F-Laser: slow-moving projectile you can change the direction of with a powerful charge shot, but the uncharged shot is... well, it speaks for itself. 8. Ray Arrow: I like the charge shot as it can be used as a pseudo-Giga Attack, but the uncharged shot is... I dunno what to say. It _does_ make Commander Yammark let out one of the funniest screams, though. 7. Strike Chain: Situational at best. Dogwater in combat, creates more problems than solves them by always making Wheel Gator duck in the blood-oil, and getting the Arm Parts with it is... a challenge to say the least. It's pretty good against virus Sigma though. 6. Double Cyclone: Ineffective against larger enemies, makes a mockery out of Magma Dragoon, and makes the boss against Double much more aggravating, need I say more? 5. Shining Ray: splitter weapon that needs precise positioning and leaves you vulnerable, and the charge just lets 3-4 of them explode off another. Other than Dark Mantis, not really recommended. 4. Ray Claw: Useful for a close-range attack, but I'm playing as X, not Zero. Charge shot is just Ray Splasher, AKA the definitive Nothing Special Weapon. 3. Gaea Shield: Shield weapon that isn't a good defensive option and you have to damage enemies by ramming into them. Charge shot is largely inaccurate in 3D sections. 2. Gravity Well: barely effective against enemies and gives Blast Hornet a bad case of Spark Mandrill Syndrome. 1. Moving Wheel: Spin Wheel, with less damage, no environmental interactivity, and less accuracy.
