Does anyone happen to know if its a little easier to.. A. Disconnect axles and pull entire drivetrain in one unit? Or.. if you have access to a lift.. B. Easier to drop engine/drivetrain out from the bottom after removing exhaust/axles??
@lesserstatus23 күн бұрын
6:50 there are two spots on the engine to put a hangar to lift the engine. 1 spot, in the front, above the exhaust manifold far left (passenger) side. 2nd spot, on the drivers side of the engine is above the transaxle , this one is really hard to spot.If you follow the ignition wire to the side, there is a hose that covers the second spot. You can buy the two hangars to lift the engine.First hangar 12281-28010 second hangar 12282-28010 bolts 91512-61020 total price should be less than $50. Hope this helps people.

@LILALBINOBOY I would see if there's a plug with another line branching off that has a plug to match up, the fuel sending unit and pump would be on the same plug but it could be some kind of feedback line for the ecu to operate the gauges. What about the speed sensor on the transmission? Is that plugged up?

@sksnnsksnsnsbsbb how's the rest of the suspension? Struts and the bushing mounts at the tops of the struts? If not that does the wobble seem to be felt in the steering wheel or does it just seem to resonate through the car? Just wondering if the rear suspension might be causing problems.

@brianbloom1799 I know parts are available for every car I've worked on, but not everyone has thousands of dollars or a whole resto shop to break down a car to reassemble it to factory standards. It's those reasons the classic car hobby has gotten ridiculous over the years because of people taking otherwise affordable cars and building $100k restos, making anything but junk unattainable for the average guy. The cost of the aftermarket does the same making those of us with lesser means have to resort to all kinds of backyard engineering something car we can enjoy from the junk we can afford.

@TheImprovisationCenter2 ай бұрын
@Ntobeko-l9q with greedy plants like tomatoes and cukes that are grown and producing I check every week or so, making sure levels don't go down to expose any more than a third of the roots. Even then it's just a small amount to keep the level in a mid range so the air roots stay exposed while the rest of the roots can drink. In a pinch I could go 2 weeks but would have to keep a portion of the roots underwater and not let everything go dry. Can't submerge too many of the air roots.
