I think the pushy Survivor-like buttons are called Type "A".

most likely first-party install, but since these were installed when the company no longer had ties to ThyssenKrupp (and was either TK Elevator or TKE at the time), there's no branding.

2004 isn't _that_ early for 330A. And Phipps is in Oakland actually.

Cool! What is the difference between 330A HT buttons and 400A HT buttons?
@alternatehobbies6 күн бұрын
they press differently. you need to ride a 400A HT to know what we mean. 330A HT buttons can be extremely hard to press, where 400A ones have less resistance basically

@@alternatehobbies I've ridden 400As and 330As but the 400As I've rode always have HT VR. Interesting how they used two variants of HT.

This elevator still sounds exactly as bad as in this video. Rode this thing last summer, and honestly enough, the gated one ran way better.

Unfortunately, these have horrible reliability. I visited my friend who lives here on Friday, only the right car was working, and he said it's been like that most of the year. One 200FPM elevator for 8 residence floors + parking is not fun

Hopefully some still work, they have been converting this place to retail and offices as the Highline. I don't think any of the feights are even used at all here anymore since this hasn't been the Terminal Warehouse complex in a while.

What is considered True MRL?
@alternatehobbies8 күн бұрын
zero dedicated space for elevator equipment outside the hoistway. true MRLs have their controllers in the door jamb rather than a controller closet

momentums are fun to find with how uncommon they are. they're a bit more quirky and often more fun to ride than Gen2 Overslung/Skyrise, even if the Otis installs usually run slightly nicer

Wow, can't believe this is here. I've passed by this place numerous times and didn't know this was here. SchindlerHaughton is one of my favorite brands too. I believe the buttons are actually know as Type H, and L-Series is more of a name for the general fixtures or possibly just a made-up name. How accessible is this place?
