I like the interiors of these houses, the exterior is not my style, but it isn't offensive. The redoing of Linganore Road happened just before we moved into the area and it is just stupid, I predict accidents on the regular. It just doesn't mix with texting drivers. These are very nicely conceived layouts and spaces, lots of air in these rooms with the high ceilings and long sight lines. Some have full-height sliding glass room separators which I think is a nice application of some high end modern office design. There are thoughtfully useful spaces or amenities around the house. For instance, the stairways are very generous and open providing places to read or sit a bit away from the other spaces. It actually is really nicely done. On the other hand I don't think the trim work is commensurate with the prices here, but I have a critical eye there. These really are nice interior spaces in these houses, they suit a larger or multi-generational family. Zero lot. Great access.

Hi, How do you compare Wormald's build quality to that of NV Homes?

Pushing the limits on 2 inch vent pipe length for furnace with three 90s that’s 15 feet added to the total length overall

I have yet to read any CO from flue angle being off. The issue with that is the water is going to collect there and possibly prevent the pressure switch from closing or drains getting backed up. The inducer motor runs for a bit after combustion has stopped to flush out all the CO.

They also have collection tubes for all that moisture. 1/4 of an inch per foot pitching upwards is what it should be.

I had already opened the furnace and put the cover back on. It’s the flu. ✌️

I’m pretty sure the pipe is the fresh air pipe coming back to the furnace. Some people will pitch it this way to keep any moisture that might collect in the pipe from running back into the furnace and causing damage.

WTAFFFFF??? And do they get away with this? My father would have had conniptions if any of his men left anything looking like this.

This is actually very common. Trusses are shipped to sites and rolled off the back of a flatbed semi trailer. They can be damaged during the drop off. The builder/framer will contact the truss company and the truss company provides an engineered repair. That engineered repair will be attached with the other truss documents and the inspector has to review it and confirm it was done correctly. But some things DEFINITELY are not always done correctly so it is always best to have your own third party inspector.
