Looking at a 1611 English Version of the Bible (KJV), we do not find the name Jesus (gee-sus), but we do find the name Iesus (ee-sus). Who authorized this name change from Iesus to Jesus? For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. If one rejects the revealed name of YAHSHUA, that one stands condemned! In Matthew 4:4, we read, “But He answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.’” When man makes doctrines outside of the revelation of God and establishes them as a doctrine of God, this is called “the Traditions of Men!” As it is written, “Then the Pharisees and scribes asked Him, ‘Why do Your disciples not walk according to the tradition of the elders…?” He answered and said to them, ‘Well did Isaiah prophesy of you hypocrites, as it is written: ‘This people honors Me with their lips, but their heart is far from Me. And in vain they worship Me, Teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.’ For laying aside the commandment of God, you hold the tradition of men…and many other such things you do.’ He said to them, ‘All too well you reject the commandment of God, that you may keep your tradition’” (Mark 7:5-9). There's a lot of possible interpretations. What is a generation? 70 years? 80 years? Could God allow a little extra beyond that since many people do live beyond 80? Does the generation start at reestablishment of Israel in 1948? Or 1967... When Jerusalem was recovered? Also if a thousand years is as a day to God, and Jesus arose the morning of the 3rd day, does that mean we have to get to 2033? So He comes on the morning of the 3rd day? Then is our calendar correct? Did they accurately base our calendar off the birth of Christ? Or were they off by a few years + or - ?
