Credo che l'orchestra avrebbe potuto dimostrare il suo dissenso senza umiliarlo, il pubblico comunque prova affetto per questo grande artista ed ha applaudito anche se ha avuto qualche mancanza, credo che a una certa età ci si debba dedicare a insegnamento e a lasciare il palcoscenico ad altri, un mito dovrebbe ritirarsi al momento giusto per rimanere un mito, ma capisco che è difficile per uno per cui la musica e l'amore del pubblico sono la vita.

Una pena verlo arrastrarse por ahí y más pena comprobar que aún hay gente que vaya a ver, a escuchar, algo tan lamentable como es una voz cascada, que no suena, sin brillo alguno...cosas propias de su edad. Pero su afán de protagonismo es tan avaricioso, tan tacaño, que no manera de echarlo ni a escobazos.

Of course, knowing Domingo as many of his long time fans do, that he would have an off moment here or there, take a bit of rest, and then **insist on continuing on** is part of his character as a lyric theatre hidalgo of unmatched status. It is likelier than not at this time that indeed, the Great Domingo will be further trimming his stage work. He's still having so much fun, clearly. I pray to God that he live to be 101, because so few of God's children live the life He gave us to the fullest and most joyful measure possible the way Domingo has and will until the moment he is called back Home.
