The most incredible thing about this scene is the build up. The female titan has been made to look invincible. What human could ever defeat such a thing? Levi is said to be humanity’s strongest soldier, but viewers had no idea how far above everyone else Levi truly was. Maybe you thought he would win, but did anyone think he would dominate a titan shifter like that? Of course not. This scene is so amazing precisely because the author deliberately hid how powerful Levi really was until this moment.
