Reddit used to be a fun place up until about a decade ago. A forum for tech nerds and video game dorks, mostly. After Trump won in 2016, it got astroturfed to hell by the far left. Most of the largest subreddits (topic-specific sections, such as 'r/news' and 'r/politics') are moderated by radical leftists with zero patience for critical thinking. There is no more discussion left to be found in the site's rotting husk, just a perpetual echo chamber of radical left ideals. You're either with them, or you can kick rocks, while they call you every vile name in the book (as long as those names are radical-left-approved, that is!) I'm a registered Democrat and I cannot stand the site these days.

A republican moderate had no choice in terms of the candidates. Who exactly was an alternative to Trump? Hailey? DeSantis? Ramaswamy? LOL. I'll tell you exactly how Reddit purged themselves of every major conservative/right wing subreddit. What happened was, democrats blamed memes for Trump winning in 2016 (because news articles said this, and they think you're too stupid to actually make an informed decision and you only vote based on 4chan memes), so a ton of chronically online democrat redditors decided to make alt accounts and spam posts that violated Reddit policies. Posts like extremely racist memes or images or texts saying stuff like "me and all of my KKK buddies love voting for trump because we hate ******s! Praise jesus!" and then Reddit admins used these posts as an excuse to delete these subreddits even though it was obvious that 99% of these posts were from alts intentionally trying to get it deleted. This tactic is as old as the internet itself. People have always done these "cyber false flags" if you will.
