@@StoneYeti They did a 'final' tour a few years ago, so I won't make a prediction, but as 'Full Circle' is their final studio album, I'd guess they are highly-motivated to follow this with performances that enable them to go out on a high. When cynics call them a "tribute band", they overlook that tribute bands don't release new material.

@paulferreira8342 They put on a brilliant show in Melbourne too. I should have gone the second night too, they said they were playing about 50 songs over the two nights and only about 5 were gonna be played both nights, but unfortunately work got in the way.

@paulrogers7067 You can replicate the sound of an instrument, but vocals and performance are something else and of course we will never hear Connolly in person ever again. I did however feel Paul Manzi was a great front-man with a voice that fit the music and was a suitable replacement, he did not disappoint.

@paulrogers7067 I know Andy was unwell and couldn't come, I don't know what the issues with Bruce were, perhaps also not very healthy. Adam who stood in for Bruce may not have the same flair but apparently he's stood in before and I felt did a pretty good job of it.

I agree it's not a scintillating drum intro, but by that point the crowd was revved up and the intro served its purpose without overpowering the song to follow. Even if Andy was there the intro would have been identical.

Andy Scott's still alive. This is his band... Gave his blessing for this Austrian tour as he's dealing with health issues. Resting up for the UK tour in December.
