Same old shit! They should quit after what they did to Dan Morrison; John Stevens has always been a sell-out. People are bored shitless of the same old corporate crap from The Stevo Show and Cheesy Chuck! People that have known Stevo from Yeah Yeah know his P Diddy style relationship with the Runaway Boys, and stayed out of Festival Hall until after theose sellouts played. John Stevens is the worst thing to happen to Australia Ska music. He is the Ska Wiggle for children.

Perhaps they're playing too many shows. They're not as young as they used to be (stating the obvious! None of us are!) so maybe they should cut down a bit. Quality not quantity as the saying goes. Don't think anyone can do anything as well or as often as they could thirty years ago! Even Robin Zander's voice is sounding a bit laboured. (This is an observation not a criticism). Does he still smoke?
@StoneYeti2 ай бұрын
@ivyhope660 don't know if it's the number of shows or the length of the shows themselves. On the night I thought Robins voice was great all night but listening back to the few vids I took I'm feeling he started strong which set the tone for the night, then used his experience to push it when he needed to and "let it rest' when he could. No idea about the smoking.
@ivyhope6602 ай бұрын
@@StoneYeti Thanks for your reply. I've never been fortunate enough to see them live. I live in Edinburgh and for some reason CT were never that popular in UK. I only "discovered" them a few years ago via Velvet Revolver's cover of Surrender! Then Downed from At Budokan had me hooked! I couldn't believe the quality and quantity of their back catalogue! It's been a labour of love discovering all these wonderful songs! Robin Zander's vocals are jaw droppingly magnificent! (He was also incredibly hot and, quite frankly, off the scale with his sex appeal! How I never noticed him during 1970s, 80s, 90s, 00s is a complete mystery!). Anyway I will keep playing their music (watch lots of their live shows online while on exercise bike. I need something to take the pain away!) and will spread the word around about how damn good they are!

Was the crowd low-energy during Goo Goo Dolls? I don't know why he'd cuss out someone.
@StoneYeti2 ай бұрын
@jonathanmccormick499 I think most of the crowd were there for MB 20 rather than Goo Goo Dolls so for most of the set was pretty low-key. Plus they'd had a few technical issues and for one song he was handed a guitar in the wrong tuning so he really wasn't having a great day.

I’m too young at 23 years to have attended any Pink Floyd concerts. So as an avid PF fan I was not about to pass down this once in a lifetime opportunity to see them when they were live in Melbourne last year. Probably the last time any PF member will ever be in Australia. But my god, was this one hell of a concert. I do enjoy all the more well known songs globally, but I have something special in terms of passion for all the older albums before Dark Side. Getting to experience what was the ‘truest’ form of Pink Floyd has been the best experience of my life to date.
