The only game I'd add to the list is _Daemonologie_ based almost entirely on the seductively freaky presentation.

I think here are missing at least The Binding of Isaac (in a top 15 of all time), brotato and Slay the spire considering the most famous ones. I'd also change some positions but of course those are personal tastes 🙂 I'd highly suggest you instead "Shotgun king" and in particular "The Rogue Prince of Persia", it's still in early access but it's SO good. It's from the creators of Dead Cells' DLCs by the way 😉 I have 140+ hours already and I don't plan to stop it for a long time

There was a time in my life when I played popular games, now is not that time. I wish I liked third-person action combat, Black Myth seems cool, maybe it's just decades of PC mouse and keyboard use/preference, but the perspective/format just never gelled for me. I might get around to it at some point, but sadly, it's way down the priority list.

You missed Reality Break, it's an upcoming action rpg with some roguelite elements.

When I was young and the Apollo missions were underway, space travel seemed like the future. But as I've gotten older and more than five decades have passed since I watched Neil Armstrong walk on the moon, space just seems increasingly remote, the once shiny future has been replaced by reality that we'll never make it off this planet. As such, I actually find space games to be kind of depressing, a reminder of a promise that will forever go unfulfilled, so I simply never play space games. The backdrop still can work for fiction and fantasy I suppose, the backdrop for a human story, but hard sci-fi as an imagined future, the potential of humanity...I don't think so.

Like _Backpack Battles,_ I'm open this kind of game, but I really want one with more of an ARPG (i.e. Path of Exile) level of build and enemy depth; maybe one day.

If this is a success, the sequel should be called, _You Are My Beast._

This is one of those games where you intend to sit down and play for an hour before dinner....and then all of a sudden it's 3am and you still haven't eaten. It's a game's game.

I gave the game a real chance but there's not enough polish for even a dev intended strategy to work. Units will clutter in a lot of situations, decks clutter a lot too, and some tower cannot even hit ennemies in some maps. Its very sad since the visual identity is strong but gameplay is frustrating

Given that this is Digital Sun's third title I'm quite confident they'll be able to finish it and have it leave early access. That said, I wasn't a fan of either _Moonlighter_ or _Mageseeker,_ so, while this seems initially appealing and promising, I will wait for a 1.0 release before I commit to a purchase. However, I'm patiently hopeful. As the old saying goes, "third time's a charm".
