I’ve been fortunate to receive a trophy at a district convention. Can’t imagine though how exciting it would be to receive one at the international level. Congrats Midtown!

This is the 2nd night in Harrtford, CT - 1987. :) I was in the audience... sand w/the Carolina Chord Company (Charlotte, NC) - came in 11th - our first International in decades. Joined BAC just a couple of months after this, after moving to NYC.

They got 6th...again. There was a marked difference between them and the medal winners from a score perspective. Pretty good after changing their baritone.

My father introduced me to this great music about 70 years ago. This takes me back to my childhood. Never been a "barbershopper" but sure appreciate the music. This was great to see.

Gonna blow your mind with this one: Since 1991 there have been 32 contests. Tony has won a medal in 17 of those, and in the other 15...he didn't compete. 5 gold, 5 silver, 7 bronze. Tough to compare eras, but how is he not the GOAT? (Edited for 2024)

I played bass on an arrangement of this accompaniment during a jazz tour in France in 2010. This was in fact the audio rendition we studied for rehearsal purposes. Such a great tune, even more fun to play it than to listen!!
