You really need to empty out the entire car and place things on the ground all grouped up. Then reload it. You have so much junk that you have kept with you for over a month and still haven't used while traveling. You need more loot space. Also keep a log about what tools you have back at the base so you can pick up or bypass things out on the road.

I can see that diner/gas station/garage, with the apartment above and basement below and fenced area being a very popular basing spot. Having the river, the SpeedyGo trucking office and the chicken farm close by as well as the farm shop nearby and the garden centre a short drive south sets you up for survival very early on. The lack of tools and weapons is the weak point but there is the gun store to the west if you fancy a big risk/big reward mission!

Perhaps you can get a generator for when you're visiting to keep the food. When looking at the house there's a window on the second level you may be able to put the generator outside of. I'd keep the flour in case you can bake biscuits, cookies, cake etc. I haven't seen you find a great deal of that kind of stuff. I've not yet started a game in Build 42 so, no idea what you can bake. 29:47 In b41 I played with only the furthest out zoom level and a zoom level about 1 notch out from your norm enabled, and played on max zoomed out as much as possible for the strategic advantage. As a streamer I guess there's more to take into account and having more of the range enabled and being able to do some real close zooms is going to be nice for story telling and things like that.

just something about pouring the pots of soup/stew into bowls: when I split a pot of stew into 2 bowls, the 2 bowls lost some calories but they were uncooked; and when I cooked them I ended up with the initial calories of the pot ; I guess it`s a good way to level up cooking
