I like how you can tell the artist was going for a halo 3 elite design for the forefront, but went with more halo wars 1 style for those in the background. In fact it almost looks copied from memory off the halo wars trailer (No shade, just looks so familiar! I like it after all)

The hard metallic sounds and bass are the humans with their utilitarian looking equipment and drive to meet short term objectives. The airy voices are the ancient and sophisticated grandeur of the forerunners, and the possibilities it brings. I always saw this track as compelling me forward into something big and grand, because i had a mission.

I just remembered you exist after looking at a Twitter post of mr monopoli showing off the halo 1 elite with no mods and a guy commented with Josh with numbers in his name. I remember you because every halo reach glitch video I would watch 5-10 years ago you would comment under it and everyone would say hey you’re the guy under all the videos. By the rings, I stambled upon this two years later and it is absolutely gorgeous, pure art, gives the felling of something extemly ancient, misterious and eldritch, what human eyes where never ment to see, but also tragic and sad, and, especially by the end - epic. Incomprehensible, cosmic horor stuff. Fits Zeta Halo idealy. I absolutely loved Infinite`s soundtrack and overall atmosphere from the first time I played it, 343 nailed it and it makes me even more sad about how mishandled the game was overall. But you put the best pieces of soundtrack together perfectly, turning it from 'very good' to 'amazing'. Thank you very much, goes to my music playlist without a second of doubt. It`s unfornunate that this doesn`t have much more views as it diserves.

I wish the electric guitar at the end lasted a lot longer.

I always love coming back to this mix. I never realized how HARD Halo 5 could go. I always thought it was some kind of unreleased soundtrack from the bungie games but I was so wrong. Infinite did good overall, but man I wish something like the end of Scavengers was there.
