Can you control the cutoff for all 3 of the synths with one knob? Thats the issue i'm dealing with rn.
@Art-zs6sl6 ай бұрын
Of course. just select all three synths using the panel focus

@@sfm_hq ok One thing is never well understood: is it possible to use the arpegggiator and sequencer at the same time on a single synth? Let's say, hypothetically, Synth 1. Can I play both?

2:32 Understanding destination control is a sticking point for me; thanks for talking this through. Very helpful. I just couldn't imagine the signal path. Setting a destination is like a patch cable from the 'LFO 3 out' to the 'Modulation Decay in' if this were a modular synth. It does seem simple when it's explained well. LFO to modulation envelope decay, set to a percentage depth.

Thanks Robot Boogie. Having this kind of flexibility really starts to boggle the mind when you start imagining what is possible. Also. Looks a bit cleaner then patch cable as well ;). I’d love to hear what you are up to because it sounds like you are going deep into the operation. Please share in any of the comments sections of the videos so I can give it a listen (if you are so inclined. :)).

Is it possible to link 64-step sequences?
@brennangalley39643 жыл бұрын
I’m a little unclear on the question. One thing that maybe will help you out is that each patch can have its own unique sequence associated with it. If you have multiple part songs duplicate the patch create a new sequence and load in between the two for new sequences. I hope this helps you out. Thanks for the comment.

@@brennangalley3964 I love that each of the three synths has its own polyphonic sequencer. It’s very powerful. I was trying to recreate a 48 note tune, but it had a shorter note in it, which seems to require 96 steps of resolution. In short, it’s the length of the sequencer that seems limiting compared to say an Arturia Beatstep Pro.

When I’ve tried to extend the amount of space for recording I usually I’ll halve my bpm and double my quantize amount. So a 120 BPM song with a 1/4 Note quantize would be the same as a 60 BPM song with 1/8th note quantize. I hope this helps you get the note count you are after. Thanks again for the comment.

Thanks for making this video. Love the camera angle, lighting and minimalism. Some simple explanatory videos would be great for inspiration. 1:40 The VCO coarse tune is 7 semitones up or down, not an octave. I've had one of these for 9 months and the presets sound amazing. As a synth beginner, I found myself more drawn to the model D and the grandmother, as what you see is what you get. The ability to save presets on polyphonic analogue synth is a privilege; the drawback is it's impossible for the viewer to know what's going on.

Hi Robot Boogie. Thanks for the comment and for checking out the video. And catching those kind of information gaps is always appreciated. I agree I do love the Matriarch DFAM and M32 as well but being able to snapshot and safe the way you can on the Moog One is definitely a quick way to push the sound.

Hi mate. Why does my One sound awful with the volume all the way up? My ob6,Matrixbrute and all my synths in fact don’t have this issue when full volume is applied, just the Moog? I’m puzzled?? Cheers. 👍🏻
@brennangalley39643 жыл бұрын
Hi Duke of Pearl. Thanks for leaving the comment. There a lot of spots of gain staging available on the Moog one that there is room to create some real gnarly sounds. Your mixer section should sound great maxed out on all three oscillators and noise though. Check the level amount (under the volume) to blend all three synth engines together. The level amount will control the synth you have selected In the focus panel. I hope this helps you find the sound you are after!
