Another great stream. Sad I couldn't catch it live. Somehow, seeing parks not in use and no visible people always makes me feel melancholic. It's like watching the videos of spooky, abandoned theme parks. As soon as the rides appear, the park becomes alive.
@AdventuringWithAnnie3 сағат бұрын
I keep wondering how different it will feel when there are people in the park

Please do a live stream on opening day. Are you filming this from your house?

I will!

Hi Annie! Thanks for filming this. I am going to Helios and Epic Nov 2025 and I can't wait!!!

You might want to consider after the holidays go by, doing a live stream like this from say, 4:30pm to 6:30 pm maybe once per week (your schedule allowing). It would be a great way to grow your channel even more. With so many people excited about opening, I'm sure if you had some sort of scheduled live stream on a semi regular basis, it would gain you subscribers.
@AdventuringWithAnnieКүн бұрын
That is a fantastic idea. I am going to do that. Thank you for the suggestion!
@thewalkingdad68Күн бұрын
I picked that timeframe so that there would be about 1 hour of daylight and 1 hour of dusk/night. So you can get the best of both. But also, if you're home and catch something that isn't during those times you could just film/photo it and post it on Twitter or do a video compilation and post it here. Just suggestions, but you can make it yours.

I have a feeling that the lights aren't set to come on at a certain time, but rather they're set to photcells that activate them when the light levels are low enough. Possibly there's just one centrally located photo cell that tells them all to turn on simultaneously.

The holiday offerings over there are SOOOO much better than at Universal Hollywood! <sigh…> That Day of the Dead candle skull was out here at HHN Hollywood. Agreed on Pearl. They are forcing what should be organic. Your hair is looking great, BTW!

Our holiday food offerings feel a bit lacking this year, but our parade and Grinchmas are the best part of the holidays. I think they just found a couple boxes of HHN merch they forgot to put out here lol Thank you so much!

For those curious about the food at 4:10 떡꼬치 Tteok kkochi (pronounced like duck-coachy) is grilled skewered rice cakes. Tteok (떡) are Korean rice cakes similar to mochi but firmer and usually served as a savory dish such as 떡볶이 tteokbokki (rice cakes in red sauce). Kkochi (꼬치) just means skewer in Korean. The version Annie had with cheese is definitely less common, whereas the version with sausage is very easily found at Korean street markets and festivals, usually costing only around 1500~2000 KRW or $1-2 US. The sausage version is called 소떡 sotteok (so-duck), combining the Korean pronunciation of sausage 소시지 (so-see-jee) with tteok. And the sweet snacks at the end 호떡 hotteok (ho-duck) are traditionally filled with a combination of brown sugar and chopped seeds and nuts. As a side note, hotteok in Korea usually only cost 1000 KRW max or less than $1 US, so these were definitely a much pricier version!
