There's a reason all those "edgy" comedians can't ever seem to present themselves in an actual intelligent manner.

A brilliant writer/performer and a lovely man. The list of people he wrote for is amazing (Tommy Cooper, Morecambe and Wise, Les Dawson, Frankie Howerd, Bruce Forsyth, Jasper Carrott etc). Plus, let's not forget his amazing work on I'm Sorry, I Haven't a Clue. I doubt we'll see his kind again RIP Mr Cryer and thanks for everything ❤ xxx

Stewart Lee is one of the very few comedians that unites the left and right. Comedy at its best mocks all of us, and ( unlike 95% of the comics) his politics is no obstacle to one half of the population still loving,laughing along with him. An original genius.

Being from the States, I had to await the invention of KZbin to fully indulge my taste for British comedy, and I did not discover Jeremy until he was already gone. I didn't know he was gone for the first two years I was listening to him and it was a terrible surprise. A great mind and a great comedian.

Terrific interview. I also like how Stuart Goldsmith's laugh sounds like The Wicked Witch pitched down an octave.
