I got the XM5 and as soon as I put them on I regretted my buy, they are so uncomfortable, terrible headband and my ears where getting cooked. Maybe the XM4 is better, but I def can't recommend the XM5 for video editors.

Gyrostabilization works quite well if used correctly. For example, set the shutter to 75 degrees and enter the lens data correctly.

In the right hands, the BMPCC4k is better than the Sony FX30 or Lumix S5IIX. With experience comes the understanding that color science is more important than the size of the sensor.

They where $1295 when they where first released. I bought one back then, and just looked at my receipt. You can find used ones today for around $800, but most likely without Davinci, so you might as well get a new one if you want one, or a used one if you already have Davinci.

Thanks for the review. But are you inferring that you edit videos using their bluetooth connection and not the wire (i've heard they come with an aux cable) to edit your videos? I think the most important thing to review for bluetooth headphones for editors is the latency. Theres no delay when you're editing?

To me DaVinci Resolve full edition with life time updates is worth the $1200,(compared to buying Adobe Premiere and after effects) So the camera is basically for free :) Brilliant marketing ensuring longetivity!

P4K is not old, you are just young! 15 year old Arri Alexa beats any camera made today for image quality / narrative projects for sure! Having the P6k and the P4K for about 2 years, I recently sold the P4K because I feel the P6K has a better noise pattern and easier to make it look less like video. Its a great value for the money though. Now I need a backup P6K.
