Thanks, Andrew! It surprised me to see the park so empty at that time of day, on such a great day, but what surprised me even more, was that of the few people who were there, we got to meet a decent skater, who belongs in a group! Check out SkateBoston, or if you hang out at that park enough, you will surely run into a group looking for skaters like you. linktr.ee/sk8bos

If you are learning, take it a little at a time. Use protection, and take it easy. Never try to do too much in one session. Be patient, stick with it, and everything will fall into place, over time.

Loved the video. I got a question.....I need another pair of inline skates. I bought a pair last year but they're too large and too heavy. I have an extra wide foot and finding any skates is a chore. I need something lighter, that fits properly, and allows me to move freely. I live in NYC. Any suggestions? Thanks.
@Skating-Southern-New-England27 күн бұрын
Thanks. Well, I don't know what you had, or what you replaced them with, that was too large and too heavy, so I can only tell you what I know, based on brands I've used. I have Powerslide Hardcore Evos that fit me snug. Definitely not for an extra wide foot. The skates I use most, my Seba High Light Carbons, also fit me very well, but I can't say for sure if they would accommodate wide feet. I never had any problems with any of my rollerblade skates, and I've heard they can be ok for wide feet, but doublechecking never hurts. My FR-1 skates are the skates that I have read, are good for wide feet. (they are definitely more "roomy" than all other skates I've used) I never found them to be heavy.....maybe just a tad bulky. (for what I like to do)

I changed to a rockered setup about a year ago and I can’t imagine ever going back to flat!
